The trick to passing the pizza test is to not take the first bite... not even a nibble of the toppings. Pizza places always have salad, which is a great alternative (just be carefule on the dressings). 4224 days ago

Just remember that small changes are the ones that stick. If you try to suddenly change everything you ever ate, you might not be able to stick to it right away. The best thing is to track everything you eat. But also remember that you are changing habits, for the rest of your life. So make a decision of something you are going to change forever, and stick with it. When that is "normal", make another. I started to get back into shape 3 years ago. I've lost 37 lbs., my blood pressure is now normal and I am no longer pre diabetic. I also had a baby at 44 last year, and got back to my pre pregnancy weight within a month. The secret to my success is that if I get on the scale and weigh one or two lbs. more I immediately start to watch what I eat, and exercise more, unlike before where I would not worry about it, after all, "it's just a pound or two."
