Just thought you would like this beautiful photo today. It just feels so calming. I don't know where it came from on my photo stream and I wish I could give credit to the artist. Enjoy today!

This is one of my water color paintings and it's where I want to be right now. Splashing in the white warm sand of Miramar Beach in Florida! Ahhhh...relaxation, warmth, nature, beauty, humility. Take a moment to breath from your diaphragm and remember who you are in the depth of your soul and that you are valued just because you are uniquely you.

TIME TO GET REAL. I have 25 pounds to lose. I have been dealing with a lot of stress in the past couple years and now is the time to get the fat off once and for all. Sexy at Sixty is my mantra and plan to have 12 pounds off by my birthday, mid June and 15 pounds off by July and the last 10 off by Fall.

I love good food and eat too many simple carbs. They are my go to. Enough of the excuses. I am so excited to say goodbye to the old body and welcome myself into the body I am supposed to have.

Recipes on Spark Recipes by Tamera! I love to create recipes and meals that help me stay within my calorie limit but I simply enjoy eating.

My Goals:
May 6, 2021
So I had my body fat percentage tested and found that I have 116 pound of lean tissue and was at 29% body fat. (9 months ago I had 111 pound of lean tissue. That's a gain of 5 pounds of muscle!) So now I have recalculated my goals:
At 160 I am 29% body fat
At 158.5 I am at 26.8% body fat
At 155 I will be at 25.1% body fat which is my new goal!
At 153 I am at 24% body fat
At 150 body fat would be 22% (I was 21% body fat in college!!!)
So if I get to and maintain something between 153 and 155 I would be extatic with that and feel great!!
Clothes: Mediums feel really good right now and some things I can actually wear a small. Although I am in mediums and small I am still around a 10 and 12 for clothing size because of my height and body type. I have a small frame but it's shapely so I'll never be that girl to wear a 8 or a 6. That means absolutely nothing to me. What matters to me is that I feel COMFORTABLE!!!

Currently at 160. Next goal i

My Program:
Stay in my fat burning zone by tracking calories every day. Plan out meals and have fruits and vegetables on hand ALWAYS. Prepare salads and roasted vegetables, raw veggies and fruits so they are easy to grab when I am busy. Protein shakes help me stay on track and healthy. Anticipate the challenges, summer parties, busy work schedule and make sure I always have homemade protein packed granola bars, home made graham crackers, with natural peanut butter, serving size cut up veggies, low cal muffins ready to grab when running out the door.
Celebrate the successes. Stay positive. Have Fun! Enjoy the feeling of comfortable clothing. Say good bye to the old body. Be grateful. Use Premium Coaching on Spark. Take care of me. Have fun.

Welcome to WRJ&G! The challenge of course is to lose your 5%. To make it more fun the different team race each week to our destination. The destine is on the thread. Next week a new one. So the earlier you post your exercise (miles on the trip) the earlier we land. The max you can post for each day is 120. The extras are to try to help modify our habits--like drink more water. Next week we will have water again and another one to do.
    We can do this!

Welcome and thanks for adding me as a friend. Great mantra-sexy at 60's! I started these challenges last Spring and they do help, but bottom line to anything we do with our health is YOU really have to want to do it. No one or things can make it happen if you don't want it. I have been on my health journey since I became 60 and it took me 3 years and now 4 years later I am still maintaining it. You can do it and you will love it and if you ever need support you can always reach out. emoticon emoticon emoticon
