PENONE Today at 7:24 PM I'm getting ready to do another round of whole 30 being all in with exercise. I need this for me. I will be using my elliptical and my recumbent stationary bike as well as arm exercises and crunches. Doing it for me, and for those looks I get from my husband that shows how proud he is of me. It is difficult to focus on myself when I am full time caregiver to my husband battling his rare Cancer Everyday for over 17 years now. But I need to be proud of myself. To date on whole 30 I have lost 63 lbs and kept it off when not on a round. Improved my health in so many ways. Walk On 👟👟!!! Well I was doing great. Done a couple whole 30 plan rounds and had it all going smoothly. Then my husband's Cancer spread to his spine and it deflated me beyond words.  He is now doing radiation again. For tumor on spine but has had to be taken off his chemotherapy for tumors in chest because they can't be given together for these particular regimens. Which will allow tumors in chest to grow.  I'm trying to focus on getting my Ass back in gear. But can't seem to fine a spark. Not gaining and eating correctly but no ambition to workout or even go for a daily walk.  It's been a long 16+ year battle for him and I. Just got to keep on keeping on. 'm wearing red #1 cause of death in woman is there heart. Wear Red often where it In support of every Woman and To support every Woman💓 February is Woman's heart health Month💓❣️ I m on R2D30 of whole 30 plan and have lost 11 lbs this month. I intend to go til end of February and reevaluate then and go from their I'm feeling great Most importantly is how I feel just over a week energy has picked up and I'm able to do some things. My daughter did it to get healthy and for her wedding. She did an absolute great job and was the most beautiful bride ever. I have her helping me to learn the ropes and it's simpler than thought and although I was a carb junky I am totally enjoying the healthy foods we are eating. Starting to care for Me 30 minutes on the bike today And will alternate walking every other day with bike on the off days🚲👟🚲👟🚲👟🚲 Wish me luck to stay on track🤞☺️ Update: This post is 10 years old, my husband continues his battle of kicking Cancer's Ass everyday for over 16 years. but I must think of myself and walking is my me time We have a community walking/running group that has more than 150+ in it. I joined last year but due to husbands health I wasn't able to walk more than 3 times last season.  This year I'm making it a priority for myself  to walk every Monday.  We meet every Monday for a 5k it kicks my butt but I'm determined to do this for my health. Even if I have to get a sitter for my husband since he is still battling his Cancer, every minute of every day for over 16 years now.  It's been a battle but I'm thankful he continues his fight, I walk to honor him and for my own health.  12 walking 5ks so far 07/03/18 O.K. I have many reason's to eat or stuff myself. My husband Clinton, has Cancer and We have been battling it for over 6 years now. His cancer is very rare and it is only slightly, treatable not curable. He also has Myasthenia Gravis an incurable neurological disease related to his Cancer. For the last 6 years it has been a very busy rollercoaster. But he has the best sense of humor of any one I know. That itself keeps me going. He is one of the smartest men anyone could ever meet. He has literally found a 3 of his own chemo treatments and brought them to the attention of his oncologist. He has had over 16 different protocols of chemo therapy and almost 20 surgery's in the last 6 years His Mother has survived two different kinds of Cancer. His sister is 11 years free of Breast Cancer. His Father died of Leukemia at 55 On top of this I have had 3 lumps removed and thankfully they were benign!!! my Aunt Died of Stomach Cancer. My uncle is fighting CLL Leukemia. I've had two friends die of brain Cancer. and several others that are affected with or have lost there lives. myself well I have Heart Disease, High blood pressure( from the age of 18) and Diabetes I know that everyone has stress in their life. I am a Stress Eater. I do Enjoy my walks though it is my time to myself most of the time i walk alone which is great because there is no one yelling or anything. It is peaceful. I do take pictures when I'm walking and hope to share these with you. . Autumn is my most favorite time of the year. Of course I Live in Washington so rain will start very soon and won't end until next spring but I will walk every day. Most of the time i roll out of bed put whatever clothes i find on and stretch then head right out the door. because if i don't i know it will be a day i don't go for a walk and that starts a bad cycle of not walking. Other days i have to wait until my husband has his chemotherapy we come home i make sure he is ok then i have to muster up the energy to go for my walk. I just think to myself. If nothing else i do it for him :} I hope to encourage Everyone to add walking in to their daily routine. It doesn't take a whole lot of time and is considered one of the best exercises that you can do :} if you don't walk just walk to the end of your drive way then everyday add another step:) Know yourself & your body if there is ever anything that doesn't seem right to you go see a Dr. & make them understand that it isn't normal for YOU. Make them listen! if they wont there are other Dr.s out there that will. Be true to yourself After all there is only one, "YOU"!! :) Good Luck to everyone :} so i have been off SP for quite awhile, life gets in the way and spirals out of control, and mine certainly did just that. my husband is still kicking Cancer's Ass everyday, 9 years past what doctors gave him. Then this year my 20 year old daughter was diagnosed with not 1 but 2 different Cancers and had to undergo two major surgeries and radiation therapy all before she turned 21, but she is amazing and kicked Ass. yes she will have to be watched the rest of her life but is expected to live a full one These two people are my heros in every sense of the word, they give me strength (= Well it's time to start over with a new diet plan a workout plan try hat will lead to a new healthier Me. So it's November 2016 Time to get me healthier, I've been yo-yo dieting for way to long. My husband is still fighting His Cancer everyday for over 14+ years now and my daughter is clear at this time. We have 3 Grandbuddies Damien Alan 7, Nevaeh Leann 6, & Lisanna Lynn 9 months. I want to be around for a long time to watch TTY hem grow, so the weight has got to come off
