Introduction Text Hello my Spark friends, I am here to make some BIG changes in my life this year. I have been over weight seems like forever, I know since at least 14 yrs old. I have struggled my entire life with eating issues, Bad choices in foods and over eating. I am 35 soon to be 36 and I need to do something NOW!! I have decided to use Spark People as my Support and make friends here who know the ups and downs of being over weight. I am ready for this change, I am ready to start it with all of you who are ready too!! First I went to see my Dr. and she is helping me get my diabetes under control without the use of insulin as of now, I weighed in at 344lbs and I was wanting to just CRY!! I went home that day and decided it was time I did something, I came to my spark page and entered all my meals and planned everything out and entered my weight and this helped me get motivated. 2 weeks later I went back to see my Dr. as she instructed me to do and I have lost 2 pounds!! It may not be much but it's a start!! I am moving forward on this journey!! I plan on starting a walking plan, then add some weight training a few times a week!!

To gain control of my LIFE!! eating, exercising and mind control is just to name a few:)

I have made alot of healthier, positive changes in my life. I buy healthier foods to cook at home, I eat more veggies and I drink more water daily than I ever did before. I grill, broil,& bake my foods now and read my food labels in the stores so I know what is going into my body! !I am eating less fatty foods and watching how many calories I eat. Trying to keep between 1200-1400 daily. Also, I watch my sugar and carb intake.

First let me say, I hope every person that reads my page succeeds with their own goals in weightloss!! I know how hard it is!
