About a year ago I was over 200 pounds overweight and feeling like the hot mess express. I’ve lost 100 pounds and overcome several health problems but my rate of weight loss has slowed down.
In order to take off the next 100 pounds I’m going to have to tighten things up and get more active to get the desired results. The community and accountability of spark people seemed like exactly what is needed.

My Goals:
I not only want to be healthy and fit once again but I want to be VERY fit for someone my age. (I don’t look it but I’m 62). I found some older female fitness role models on you tube That have me really inspired. Look up Ernestine Sheppard and Iris Davis to see what I mean. They are amazing.
My Program:
Keto style eating and exercise. I might hire a personal trainer at some point but want to get started exercising on my own first.
Personal Information:
I’m a 62-year old custodial grandma presently living in New England. I’m looking to move to Florida in a few years and want to be in great shape before I get there. I’m self employed and run a doggie daycare and dog boarding Business on my property.
Other Information:
I’m 6’3” and would lie to myself that I carry excess weight well because of my height. Balony! My poor joints are shot from carrying around that 200 pounds.
