Introduction Text Trying to get healthy and in shape for nursing school. Wish me luck! : ) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 3/21 ~ This is hopefully the beggining of a new and healthy life. I'm actually really excited about becoming helathy, looking hot is just a great side effect of getting helathy. Over the past few year, I had come to accept that I was always going to be fat. But I stumbled upon this wonderful website that changed it all. I've never met so many wonderful and encouraging people in all my life. Within minutes of posting my first message on the team boards, I had several warm welcomes. So, I'm in for the long ride and I hope you guys are too! 4/25 ~ I've noticed that I don't get winded and feel like I'm going to pass out while walking between my classes. I feel better than ever! I went for a walk yesterday with two EP buddies (Hey Amanda and Danny!). We walked for 3 miles and I don't hurt all over like the first time I went for a mile walk about a month ago. I can tell I'm making progress! 5/9 ~ So, I was doing the dreaded "look at your self in the mirror almost naked" thing today. I must say that I'm actually starting to enjoy what I see. My legs are smaller, my hips and tummy are too! I don't think I'm are gutsy as some of my DONE Girls/Guys to start posting bikini pictures yet, but I'll get there! 5/19 ~ Well I'm DONE with 20 pounds. I don't see it over all, but I notice the little things. Like, my forearms have always been small, but lately I've been noticing that my hands look gigantic because my forearms are getting smaller. lol Plus, my collar bones are starting to become a little noticeable. Also, a pair of pants that I haven't worn in over a year are starting to become way too lose. I'm constantly having to trying and pull them up a little. They're not like clown pants on me (needing suspenders to keep them up) but they're not staying up on their own any more. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My background says: "I'm crazy. 1- I'd really like to be able to do physical activities without huffing and puffing. (Almost there! It is taking me a lot longer to get tired while working out) 2- To lose 100 pounds would be great. But once there, I'll see if I'd like to lose more. 3- Feel better mentally and physically. I love my self, but I'd also like to get rid of those days when I don't really want to look in the mirror.

Pretty much I'm using the nutrition tracker, drinking tons of water (like I've always done. Pretty much my only healthy habbit), and exercising to burn the recommended amount of calories.

I'm 23 years old and in my 3rd year of college. I live in the beatiful state of Washington. No, not Seattle. I actually live in a desert in the South East corner of the state. Sooo much wind, but the sunsets make up for it.
