Hi, welcome to my page. I'm a personal trainer employed at a fitness chain in Stockton, CA. I specialize in weight management, core and strength training.

My journey began in 2000 when I weighed 256 lbs with a 42" waist and 28% bodyfat. A co-worker had recently lost weight so I asked how he did it. His reply was I started eating 6 small meals a day and doing 1 hr of cardio everyday. That was all I needed...and in 10 months, I got down to 199 lbs (just to see if I could get under 200 lbs :-) The weight I settled at was between 205 -208 lbs. I stayed there for several years then, one day I decided I wanted to train to compete in a bodybuilding contest.

So, at age 50, I competed in my very first bodybuilding competition. The pictures to the left track my journey from 2006-2008.

There is no quick fix. It is not done overnight. Getting fit takes time, commitment, and patience. There will be setbacks as life is always full of surprises. Just learn from them and get back into the game.

Sometimes things come up and you won't be able to meet your goals. Instead of beating yourself up, adjust your goals to match your life and schedule.
