hi I am a48 yr old lady with problems like emotional eating,depression,diabetes,and thyroid issues.Am hoping to lose some of the weight gained by over-eating and meds.Appreciate all the help I can get.
11/22/11-Now am down to 185 lbs.Exercising well but need to track food better and closely stay within the calories !Am now in the 5% challenge for the winter this year as well as the Seasonal Accountability Challenge.Will stay on track on a daily basis.Hope the loss will occur this time!
3/31/13-still on my journey.Am going to be on the April rise and shine challenge.Am in india and have lost some more weight.Feeling good!
6/9/16-Wow!How time passes!A lot has happened since my last time I logged in.Illnesses in the family.Surgery for my son,dad-thyroid Ca,and myself-gastric sleeve due to a new Dx-psoriatic arthritis.
One good thing is weight loss but diet restrictions and reflux is something I have to live with now.In addition to ally other issues.
24/9/17-i am now 55 and feel wonderful!Getting healthy is a journey and I have decided to go with the flow.my friend Janet got me restarted after I was MIA due to work and family and surgery stress.
now back exercising.If I can the diet as part of my lifestyle-therin lies the secret tobe unraveled.HopeSP will be with me on the journey.

6)Am at 72 kilos as of today.At 57 I am sure this is still too much.Got to work out some and am eating some more sales on a daily Also doing yoga and trying to do weights as well.I hope to be healthier soon!

1)To be a good person

3)to reduce mysoreness and increase my flexibility


My Program:
1)tracking my food and activity on a daily basis
2)thinking of one positive thing a day
3)iincreasing fiber daily-I must think positive despite all that i have against me.



Personal Information:
I live in sunny Charleston,SC and am a physician.My husband and I have two lovely boys-one of whom is more than halway on his way to become an engineer.
I love what I do but am very hard on myself.I am on my own personal journey to find myself.
Have just moved to India in a state called kerala.


Other Information:
i love books,cooking and gardening.mysteries,romaces,historical books,spiritual books-I love them all.Very much limited by my anxiety and sociophobia and made worse by Fibromyalgia and depression-it has been difficult so far but I will keep trying.May have toleave to India due to family problems but will cont my journey there.

    Have been so busy-now retired from practise as parents need me more and father has had a complicated fracture left lower leg.Had to have plate and pins and skin transplant on top of that!!! emoticon
    So I am alternating between Kochi where my Hubby is and Kotayam with my parents.

    Life is so full of amazing things thatastonish one-my CSF pressure is now high and my psoriatic arthritis has been bad but have been doing more yoga, praying and meditation.

    I haven't forgot SP and hopefully will get a blog in daily.Am using another tracker on my phone.
    More news later.

    Yes,my sleeve has been holding up so far but have had to really stick to a low carb diet. Am with my parents now trying to take care of them but have to be more vegetarian /vegan as a result! No problems-just have to juggle my proteins.Helps with my inflammation though i won't
    bluff regarding cravings for shrimps and salmon and chicken!
