back again ... starting 3/17/16
My goal is just to lose 1 pound per week ... so here's to 903 days of the treadmill. Wish me luck!
2016 - 287 heaviest to 233.8 lost 53.2 lbs
2017 - 225.2 lost 8.6 lbs - total 61.8 lbs
2018 - 221.4 lost 3.8 lbs - total 65.6 lbs
My goal for 2019 is to lose another 52 lbs (a pound per week)
January 2019 - 216.8 lost 6.8 lbs - total 70.2 lbs

2002 - lost 20 (12/9/01 - 188 to 3/4/02 - 168) gained 63.5

4/27/14 - In 2009 I lost 73 pounds with the help of the prescribed medication Phentercot (phentermine). I crashed emotionally terribly after coming off the medication and gained back all the weight plus almost 35 more. After that bad experience I didn't want to try again and stopped caring. Now I am back to losing weight and being able to move and feel better.

My Goals:
Eat healthy and exercise as a lifestyle.

Manage high blood pressure and cholesterol.

Lose 129 pounds in 129 weeks (2.5 years) 903 days on the treadmill.

BMI in the Healthy range. (24.7 wt 158)

Reduce medication & supplements from 10 pills to 1 per day.


My Program:
*Track and stay within calorie range 1200-1600

*Keep Sodium under 2300 mg (for HBP)

*Keep carbs under 100

*Track 30 minutes of exercise (treadmill - raising gradually)

*Get 8 hours of sleep

*Drink 8 glasses of water

*Have 5 fruits & vegetables (will raise to 8 eventually)

*Get 5,000 steps (will raise to 10,000 gradually)

*Get as many Spark points as possible

*Cook healthy dinners instead of eating out



Personal Information:
I grew up in northern IN, moved to NJ, CA, IL and now live in NC. I'm married with 3 grown kids and a grandson. We have a beagle named Hunter. We enjoy getting exercise while playing Pokemon.

I love to read and enjoy watching movies based on books, as well as old Oscar movies. I love recording my books on GoodReads. My screen name is "cyber-librarian" on Bookcrossing. I also enjoy genealogy.
