Introduction Text How to get from here to there. Here is me at 290 pounds. There is where I want to be a 140 pounds. That is what I weighed thirty years ago. I want to be lighter and healthier. I have been trying to lose weight for 30 years but when I lose it, it finds me again.

I am using sparkpeople as a tool to turn to people and spell out and subsequently dispell the emotional issues that I usually eat over. I thank God for giving me people to turn to instead of the substance of food. I'm trying to follow a food plan given to me by a dietician.

I am a single, divorced mother of a grown son. I work as a legal secretary. I like to play chess, love music, science, writing.

All things work for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.
