10/23/17 Hi! Think it has been almost a year since i was here. I'm not a happy camper. It seems like I'm never going to lose this weight. Been trying to shake it since 2008. I keep giving up! So here goes again another try. Someday one of these have got to take! I remember when I try to quit smoking I quit over and over again without success until one day I succeeded so hopefully that's what's Happening Here. So this should be my successful round. I also took long breaks in between trying to quit smoking but one morning I woke up decided that was it I quit and never smoked again. Wish I could do that with food but we can't and I think that's what makes it harder to lose weight is because we can't just quit food. We need food to stay alive. So here goes to another round; round one and I don't know how many attempts throughout the years but here goes. Wish me luck!!

My Program:
I try to lose at least 1# per week.

1. Track all of my food to stay under 1300 calories
2. Minimum of 10 minutes of fitness daily and at least 90 minutes weekly
3. Positive self-talk at the beginning of each day (note I love this goal!!!)
4. Eat at least 5 servings of fruits and veggies daily
5. Drink at least 8 glasses of water daily
6. Develop a plan for eating out at restaurants.
7. Plan & follow menu
Every 10 lbs I loose I get a reward! Last reward was dumbbells; I plan to be down 30 lbns by Jan and then I'm getting my haircut and colored! That will make 30 lbs down. DONE! Need to lose 7 more to get hair done again- (every 30lbs) goal set for 5/1. I'm getting my hair done 05/02!! Another 30 gone!



Personal Information:
4/15/21 I am 64 and Jan. 2021 I was 293lbs. Today 255.6. Hard to believe I got down to 179.4 dec. 2018. Here I go again.

    thank you for the goodies and thank you for caring. I have my times but I am doing well. I have stayed busy and tried to get into the Christmas spirit which is a little hard to do. I haven't done much shopping for my kids or anyone else for that matter. I am going with a friend tomorrow to work on angel tree kids from the Harley Shop. We give them a party on Sat. So I am hoping to get some of mine done also. We will see.

    I am working on getting some business done and then after the first of the year I was thinking about going back to substitute teaching. So I am going to see how that goes, plus I want to get back to Curves to start exercising again. I don't cook anymore and I have not done too well with eating right. I don't know what I want but know I need to eat and I just end up fixing a sandwich and some chips. Not a very healthy meal but quick. I'm going to work on that also after the first of the year.

    So keep on to me I really appreciate you checking up on me.

    I am soo proud of you. I haven't heard form you in a while. I am keeping up my exercise. but I have only lost 1 lb form the 6 I gained. You are doing wonderful. I hope that you are having a wonderful day. Pretty here but not too hot. The Spring Nationtionals (drags) are here this weekend. It is called Thunder in the Valley and we will be able to hear them from where we live. By car it is about 5 or 6 miles but as the crow flies it is only 2 miles from here. Have a great weekend also.
