Originally I started on this site May 13th 2009. Since then I have taken off 63.1 pounds. Well I had...... until January of 2010 when a dear friend of mine told me she had cancer. Since then, my life has been put on hold basically as I have spent all the time I can with her. She is still around I am pleased to say but not doing very well. I, however, in the interim, have managed to add 15 pounds to my body weight again. Originally my weight was 265 now it is 216.2 and it is time for me to get moving again. I am pleased to say that I am still down 49 pounds from when I first started here. It is time for me again to say onward and downward!!!
I am back up to 258.6 pounds now. I fell and hurt my knee badly back in September so for now all I am doing is trying to mend the knee by doing 10 minutes a day on my stationary bike. I will add to it as necessary. I want to remove 25 pounds by June 28th as my youngest son is getting married June 29th. That is 5 pounds per month and is very doable.

Motivation-The main "enemy" of motivation is the tendency to see yourself as the hapless victim of forces (or urges) over which you have no control. -Dean Anderson

Any act often repeated soon forms a habit; and habit allowed, steadily gains in strength. At first it may be but as the spider's web, easily broken through, but if not resisted it soon binds us with chains of steel."Tyron Edwards
