I'm a late bloomer for the idea of getting healthy. At the age of 36, I find that I deal with chronic fatigue, pain in my back, legs, and feet, I have trouble breathing, and I'm tired of my size limiting my activities. Realizing that it is time to take back my life and my body, I am here to use Sparkpeople to make healthy lifestyle changes while working with doctors to get the weight off.

I hope to share my experiences and meet some friends along the way. Whether local or long distance, support is important. I hope that I can be as much of a support to others as they will be to me and be an example of you can start anywhere you are at whatever weight you're at.

My Goals:
Participate in my first 5K, Take a cruise to the Bahamas,
Go and actually enjoy Dancing, Get Into A Size 20 Again, Go to Zumba Classes, Increase my flexibility, feel comfortable in my own skin and start dating again.

My Program:
Making Healthier Choices, Tracking Food & Water, Eliminating Soda from my diet, High Protein, more activity,more social outings, and more happiness.

Personal Information:
I live and work in East Texas in small towns a couple of hours from Dallas and about an hour from the Louisiana border. I work a day job in finance and spend my nights working toward a goal of a lucrative writing career. I also enjoy hobbies that are artsy-craftsy like needlework, sewing, painting, and DIY decorating.

Other Information:
Highest Weight : An estimated 500lbs - doctors were unable to weigh me when I first left my now ex-husband.
Current Weight- 434.6 my highest since the divorce
Current Mini Goal - 400.0 lbs
Ultimate Goal - 175 lbs
