Introduction Text So here I go!! I'm hoping that by keeping track of my journey to a healthier me in such a public way will make the journey easier and a lot more fun. I'm excited to have found SparkPeople and to get started on my journey, which has been derailed many times throughout the years. I want to make this time the one that truly counts.

My main goal is to lose 38 lbs by being more active and by practicing daily healthier habits.

Instead of writing a whole program ahead of time, I want to take it one step at a time this time. So it'll be simple to begin with: 1. eat when physically hungry 2. exercise every day for at least 10 minutes 3. track fitness activity 4. track weight & measurements weekly 5. drink 8 glasses of water every day 6. eat at least 3 servings of fruits and vegetables 7. meditate every night (10 minutes minimum) 8. blog whenever Spirit inspires me!

I currently live in the East Bay Area, but I'm hoping that one day I'll live in a tropical place where I can go swimming in the ocean every day! I love to hike because nature soothes my soul and strengthens my heart. I usually listen to classical and new age music, but love the spice and heat of flamenco and Latin rhythms.
