    Hey girl, i thought i would write you back since i was on here. FB is kinda getting on my nerves lately. I'm glad to hear you had a "magical" Christmas. That's so cool. Ours are pretty magical too so i understand. My parents love that holiday. I got every single thing i put on my list from them. My dad is all about list! I guess that is where i get my OCD list making issue. :O
    Anyway I have been logging my food on here and keeping it written down in a food journal too. I'm really serious about this. I've gone back to counting calories hoping that helps my sweets problem. It did not seem to help last night. A coworker had some donuts and asked me to help him finish them off while we had a hot drink. I was so mad at him and myself bc i could not say no! Then i fell in the dining room at work and hurt my leg. I was so upset about having the 2 donuts and then not being able to work out in the morning, i went ahead and had a piece of cake! It only made me feel worse. For some reason my body can not handle much icing of any kind. That should be a good thing i guess.
    You know when you said you how much weight you wanted to lose in a year i was thinking that's too much! The normal and "safe" amount of weight to lose is 2 lbs a week. I would really just be happy to get down to 199 by the end of the year. But am really just focused on losing the 40-50 lbs by my anniv. in April. I'm not going to make a huge goal bc i know myself and know i need something doable. In fact i was reading the USA Today fitness thing they have and it said if you can stick with your New Years diet and exercise plan for at least 5 weeks, you are more likely to stick to it for the long run. I got the exercise thing down but obviously am still having sweets issues. I did good today and when i am not tempted or have peer pressure. I know there is probably cake in the fridge here at work but will not put myself through that again tonight. And i am no longer tempted to eat the cookies we have sitting on our front desk counter! They are just nasty. I had a cup of OJ, an apple, and some fat free caramel apple dip for a snack tonight. For breakfast it will be a banana and some light yogurt. My leg is feeling better after my little spill yesterday so i will get on the elliptical for about 30 min. And i'm thinking if i tell you all this, i have to do it right? Hopefully it works. How are you doing so far? Staying on track and getting any exercise in?

    Oh wow! I just got your last comment! I have tried to read Dr. Oz's book, You on a diet, and it was really good. I need to go to the Dr. and get tested for this gluten thing. The more my sister and i read about it, the more we think we both have had it our whole life. When we were little we both tested allergic to wheat. Her Dr. said that is something you never grow out of. And if you keep eating it, it could cause you to be overweight or a failure to thrive. That is how my sister was and i was the overweight one with stomach problems. So, we will give this gluten free thing a shot and see if that helps me lose some weight. And i need to get back to working out. My knee is hurting me tonight bc it's so cold. I will see how it feels in the morning. I don't think i want to push it though. I will just watch what i eat today. This gluten free diet is similar to the one Dr. Oz has in his book. We will see how it goes. I'll try to lose those 10 lbs with you by the end of the year! Maybe after a month of doing this i will be able to notice a difference. I'm hoping it helps get rid of my bloating issue and give me more energy. Later Gator! Have a good week!

    Ugh i feel like a bad buddy!!! I'm so sorry!!! I can't believe i did not write all week last week! What the heck? I think i didn't write bc i really just do not have this diet thing under control and have not made any progress. I think i am retaining fluid again so my weight went up again! Poo! I'm going nuts!!!! Up and down all the time. I did not get any exercise this weekend. I do much better working out after i get off work during the week since i have the workout room and the good park next to my job. I'm just too scared to walk in the one beside my house alone. I worked out pretty good last week and can really tell i'm toning up but the pounds just are not dropping like i would like.
    So how are things going for you? Are you having the same issue as me? I worked out this morning 35 min. Oh, my back was bothering me this weekend so that's the main reason i did not do any exercise. I got on the elliptical for 5 min. this morn. and said forget this! So i got on the bike and turned on the tv. I was not into my book and left my mp3 player at home. Work has HBO and i found a movie on that i had been wanting to see. That really helped me do my 30 min. I found out i can bike 1 mile per 5 min. So i ended up doing 6 miles!!! But then i came home and had ice cream. :( What the heck? Oh well, tomorrow is another "fresh start" i guess. Well i hope you are doing good. How has it been going?

    Hey there buddy! Well, i only have 30 more minutes then i'm officially on vacation!!!! Whoop!!! I'm so excited i can't stand it. My husband told me not to work out today but i was going to just to spite him and say he's not the boss of me. Well, my back is kinda bugging me so i'm not going to. I guess that's what i get for trying to be big britches. I only worked out 15 min. yesterday on the elliptical. I was just exhausted and had some stuff about the boat to take care of. I ended up getting so much accomplished yesterday. Don't know how. I don't have much at all planned for today except to rest and finish packing our clothes. I hate being the one who has to do all the packing! NOT FAIR!!! Men are stupid. emoticon
    I'm just ready to get there and relax in my pretty pink chair on the dock. I probably won't get in touch until i get back so i want a good progress report from you when i do. I think i will do ok. Oh, i did gain a couple of pounds this week. I did not eat great and the darn Halloween candy at work!!! Plus i had choc. milk and OJ. I tried to watch it better last night. All i can say is i did not have as much candy as the night before. Only 1 little box of dots, 2 fat tootsie rolls and one long skinny one. If that does not sound weird i don't know what does.
    I just hope my boss is not late today and everybody will leave me alone til i leave. I feel like i'm about to jump out of my skin and take off running for the coast! Sheesh! I think i was really needing this break from here. Crud, i gotta go make some more coffee. Have a wonderful week and don't miss me too much!!! ;)

    That's great you started walking!!!! It's just too pretty outside to stay indoors. How many trips did you make?
    Popeye's is the devil. My husband loves it too but it makes us sick now that we have been eating home cooked meals so long now. We just can't handle the grease anymore. I made Jamaican Jerk pork chops, yellow rice, and black beans for dinner tonight. It's one of my fav. meals and not that bad for you!
    Sorry you will not be able to go home for Christmas. I bet it is beautiful there during that time. I won't make it home for Thanksgiving but will go the next day for the weekend after. I'm going to work Thanksgiving so i can have Christmas weekend off. I hope it works out that way at least. My family are Christmas fanatics.
    OH, i can't believe you eat those nasty pb taffy things!!! Yuck! :P My eating season starts at Valentine's day and ends after Easter. I usually do ok around Halloween bc i just don't buy that much candy since we don't have kids and are almost never home for Halloween. We will be this year but i don't want to spend $20 on a bag of candy and $8 on a pumpkin. I'm saving my money for my vacation. Only 3 more nights of work and then Fri. night. I've already started packing stuff up. Today i splurged a little and got myself a new beach chair. It's AWESOME!!! It's pink! They donate $1 to the Susan Koman breast cancer cure foundation for each chair they sell. I will have to take a picture and post it. That thing is going everywhere with me on vacation. It's so pretty :)
    Well i did not lose any weight this past week but i'm ok with that considering the pms i had. I was exactly the same weight-291.2. I thought that was kinda crazy. I did not get to do my 45 min. on the elliptical bc my boss was late relieving me this morning. I like to head home at least by 8am. I am supposed to get off at 7am. She didn't get in until 7:30 so i just did 30 and burned 600 calories. I could have gone longer but had to get home. I never can sleep past 12:30 or 1pm so i have to make sure i get home early enough to get some sleep in. I forced myself to go back to bed today and slept until 2:20. I needed that. I am going to the park this morning. I'm so tired right now. I think i will eat a biscuit and some ham when i go cook breakfast. That should help wake me up and give me the energy boost i need for my walk. I'm going to add 5 min. to my walk. So i will do 45 min./2 1/4 miles. I want to get back to 3 miles eventually. That is what i used to do before i got hurt. But i was doing it everyday. I am going to keep up this alternating with the elliptical every other day. It seems to be working out. I just have to know when to take a day off and not overdo things.
    Well i hope you do good this week. I may be able to contact you while i'm on vacation. We are taking the computer in case it rains. My husband plays WOW. :P His buddy does too so they can do that while me and Jamie watch chick flicks! Talk to you later babe!
