HOW COOL that you've come to visit MY page. Thank you! If you linger for more than a sec. drop me a line, say 'hi' and let me know what it was that brought you to this page in the first place, would you please? I'm curious about that.

I'm a busy woman BUT... you are here now and I'd like to get to know you. I'd be HONORED to get to know you, actually. I hope you'll find a little refreshment here... and if not here ON MY PAGE, then my prayer is certainly that "Spark People" will indeed "spark" you for good, for we all could stand to have our flames waved a little, right?

Hebrews 10:24 "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds."

Have you ever heard this quote? I hope it touches you like it has me. I don't agree with everything in the quote (you can ask me if you really want to know what part bugs me) but it's more than good enough for this moment and worthy of taking up my page and a little of your time. The quote is often called "Our Deepest Fear", by Marianne Williamson (from _A Return To Love: Reflections on the Principles of A Course in Miracles_) ...

Please see the note about Nelson Mandela in my blog after reading this:

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

1 John 4:18 "...Perfect love castes out fear"

Proverbs 29:25 "Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe."

My Goals:
To eat more prep. meals that are more healthy & move my body more.

My Program:
1. keep learning
2. plan, prep. & cook more of my own meals
3. track everything
4. implement exercise more consitantly (walking, Wii sports, Wii Fit, DVDs, martial arts, from home, yoga stretching, and anything else I can find the time to add).

So help me, God!

Personal Information:
My name is Sue. I'm a Christian who adores my Lord and is so thankful for the gift of great health He's given me though I do not deserve it. It's my desire to honor God to that i can enjoy this life longer and better and especially that I might love others better while I'm here and, DV, one day "well done" from my precious Saviour.

What does define me is my relationship to the Creator of this amazing planet and of Heaven.

I'm a Christian. That defines me. It not only defines who Sue is it also defines how I think and how I act.

Being a Christian means I recognize that I was born a sinner and although I've been redeemed at a great price, I remain a sinner.

I'm not here just to batter my weight, to eat more healthfully or to exercise more so that I might become stronger. I'm here as a wayfaring traveler on an arduous and dangerous journey ... but a splended and joyful one for sure... who wants to be able to love others more fully and practically.

Other Information:
My favorite book is "The Hidden Art of Homemaking" by Edith Schaeffer. Hispitality is important to me. It's my way of serving my community (beside teaching) by having people over to my home, sharing good books.
I struggle with perfectionism. Actually, I struggle with just about every kind of sin conceivable but like a friend once reminded me: "struggling against your own sinful nature and besetting sins is more than just a sign of life in Christ but it's also a daily fightl. Because of this I consider myself both a sojourner & a soldier.
