Introduction Text Been away for quite a while and had to deal with some major life changing situations. During that time the last thing I felt like focusing on was healthy eating and exercise. As a result I've packed on 15 lbs. Food was a comfort for me and a way to get through some tough times. In retrospect I dont regret using food as my crutch. I was fully aware that I would gain weight but it was a consequence I knew I would be able to address when the time was right. And finally, now is that time! So onward I go!!!!

To be the fittest and healthiest I can be for myself and for my daughters. I want to try to stay away from the # on the scale determining my happiness. I want to focus more on how my body feels and looks.

Running, running, running. And some boxing in between! I try to eat as healthy as possible whenever I can. The weekends kill me! But I'm working on improving that!

I'm from the Chicago area. I've been married for fourteen years and have two daughters 8 & 6. They are my world!

I love gardening, sewing , flea markets and antiques. Forget about turning into my Mother, I've turned into my Grandmother!
