I am a farmer's daughter, originally from the Saskatchewan, Canada area. After graduating RN school at Grey Nun's, moved to Edmonton, AB. where I currently reside with my spouse. I have hung up my RN hat a few years back due to health issues(breathing/sever asthma) but have kept busy until recently with community projects. I have one handsome son who is married to my wonderful daughter-in-law. I also have a soon to be 12 year old grandson, Jordan and a 5 year old granddaughter, Brelynn who are the light of my life. My spouse, Ross is very supportive, recently retired from full time work with Brinks Canada as an armed guard and is my best friend in the whole world. I am also retired.

My Goals:
Wish to lead a healthy, happy lifestyle.
Want to quit the late evening eating behaviours I have developed over the last several years.
Would like to loose 10 pounds in the next 6 weeks(Sept 16th)
To overcome my severe breathing ailments in order to do cardio workouts again and lengthen the strength training three times weekly by 5 minutes each week for the next month.


My Program:
Since I am diabetic, I eat three squares per day plus two snacks(mid-afternoon and evening).
I have been managing approsimately 10 minutes of strength training three times weekly and wish to increase this over the next 6 weeks.
I have put cardio on hold since I become so very short of breath at this time due to asthma and 7 bouts of recent pneumonia-my lungs are shot!
