Introduction Text I chose my screen name when I looked in the mirror and could not believe it was me, down over 80 pounds after years as an overweight kid, teen, adult. I felt like a miracle! Now I just see me, a me that must keep tracking and working to control my weight so that small gains don't become a trend. Worth the work? Absolutely. Clean SWEEP: Clean = eat with dignity S = 7-8 hrs sleep W = 8 glasses water E = eat healthy E = exercise 6 times/wk P = persistence

70 years old, almost 5'6", maintaining around 135 pounds. Retired social worker-grant writer-nonprofit administrator. One adult daughter. I keep my two darling granddaughters 6 days a week when my DD & DSIL work. Weigh less right now than I did in junior high. Have struggled with weight all my life. Maintenance is still challenging, but I'm definitely not giving up!!

You don't have to be perfect to succeed, but you do have to be determined. Never, never, never give up!
