Updated :2013. Starting off where I left off after months of not paying attention and falling off the wagon so much. I Look forward to getting motivated and trying AGAIN. Since this time I do have so many motivations I think I am more likely to stick to it. I am looking for a partner to work with me and maybe keep me in line.

My name is Missy. I am 27 years old.I have 5 sisters. I love my sisters with everything I am. I love my family because I am very family oriented. I have 6 piercings and 3 tattoos and more on the way. I am a country girl with a southern accent My 3 biggest obsessions are Great Danes, Sea Lions, and The colors pink and green. So yeah. I am a really easy going person. Since I have joined I have made so many friends. Ones I wouldn't trade for the world. And we all understand each other. I mean who understands better then someone going through the same thing. We have to take one day at a time and if you fall off just hop back on. That is what we are all here for to encourage one and another. I am so excited about actually being here with each and everyone of you. Everyday I am still looking for more support and encouragement. And I would love to be the same for someone else.     Hi, it's been a while since I've stopped by your page to check on you so I thought I'd take a quick moment; how are things going for you?

    I read somewhere that one lady stacked empty butter cartons on top of each other as she lost the weight so that she could see what it looked like. Now I picture every pound of my excess weight as a brick of butter; which is also pure fat. So any weight I lose, I mentally stack in the corner of my mind to remind me what it looks like.

    Hey... Keep reminding yourself how hard you worked and that you deserve to lose for your efforts; and by all means, keep on keeping on!

    I'm just passing through this time with this strange bit of trivia...

    You're not going to believe this, but I just read that chewing gum is a brain booster! Seriously! The Researchers at Northwestern University found that people who chew gum have increased blood flow to the brain and an increase in cognitive performance. Moreover, people who chew gum have less stress, which protects brain cells from stress related hormones. The researchers recommended chewing gum particularly when you have challenging mental work to do.

    Hello! I'm back to pay you a little visit to see how the New Year has been treating you.

    As for me, I haven't made much headway as far as weight loss goes, but I have re-adjusted my eating to improve my health and have been reaping the benefits of that first step back in the right direction; besides sticking to that goal, I have also been trying to get a grip on portion sizes and snacking needlessly and feel I am making some headway.

    I sincerely hope that things are going well for you in this new year and that you will be able to achieve some of the commitments that you may have made for yourself concerning your weight and health.

    January sneaked up on me like a dream. Can you believe it's the 5th already?

    Well, I did make a New Years commitment; I am returning to the way I was eating in 2009 and am going to get healthy yet again! I'm tired of limping my way through life; action speaks way louder than words.

    How have things been going for you? Did you make a New Years commitment/resolution?
