Starting Over!
Here I am again, playing the weight-loss/fitness game. I have allowed myself to get derailed these past two years due to some health issues with both myself and my husband. Happy to say he is doing well after a major surgery but I have been classified as having a chronic condition, so this will require some hard work on my part, to gain my strength and mobility back. I have ordered some exercise CD's that should be helpful for someone with my physical limitations, so I am looking forward to ...
Here I am again, playing the weight-loss/fitness game. I have allowed myself to get derailed these past two years due to some health issues with both myself and my husband. Happy to say he is doing well after a major surgery but I have been classified as having a chronic condition, so this will require some hard work on my part, to gain my strength and mobility back. I have ordered some exercise CD's that should be helpful for someone with my physical limitations, so I am looking forward to beginning these. I am keeping track of the foods I am eating and discovering where I need to improve. I am setting small, achievable goals for myself with rewards paid when I accomplish them. (A manicure, pedicure, e.g.)
Hopefully, I will soon have the nicest looking hands and feet in town, not to mention, a smaller butt!

My Goals:
Shed those extra 30 lbs. that crept up over the years. I am setting my sights on 5 lbs. at a time. I CAN DO THIS!!
My Program:
Max. 1200 cal. daily food plan, 7 days/wk of cardio exercise (walking, WiiFit on rainy days), 2-3 days/wk of strength training, and drink, drink, drink that water!!
Personal Information:
A 65+ Canadian grandmother, young at heart and love to travel. Good health, weight and keeping fit are important to me. There's a lot of oomph left in me yet and I don't plan on wasting it! Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren. My family is most important to me.
Other Information:
Enjoy photography, sewing and machine quilting, scrapbooking, music, reading and warm climates. (Because I come from one that has cold winters).
