Trying to do the right thing and live healthy; body, mind and spirit.

First of all, I am a Christian. I know that Jesus is alive; I have a great relationship with Him, and I long to get closer to Him every day.

My weight loss journey has been about so much more than losing weight. It's been long and hard; the weight loss part of it has actually been the easiest part compared to the rest... getting mentally and spiritually healthy as well. Without a all three areas (body, mind & spirit); none of the rest will work properly. Without Jesus, there cannot be any spiritual health. Jesus is the key to a healthy, happy life. The SP blogs that I have kept on here give a glimpse of my journey. I hope that I can help others with my experience. I like to encourage others.

    If you want/need a little push...consider joining us for an 5 week challenge.

    Why not join the X-WEIGHTED CHALLENGE? We're all ages, all fitness levels, all striving to live a healthier life. There is always something to learn from each other. These teams are also a great source of motivation! We can become healthier by working together and making new friends as we go. We compete in weekly nutrition and fitness challenges. It is similar to the Biggest Loser team. There are 3 teams that compete within the X-Weighted team. We do ATC (All Teams Challenge) various challenges (nutrition, fitness etc.) The main requirement is to post your weight weekly. The ATC challenges and/if individual teams have challenges are optional (however, very beneficial). If you have any questions, please let me know.
