Poor Noodle! It is normal for a dog not to eat after surgery. Don't expect his appetite back for at least a week. Just make sure he drinks. You can boil some rice, its easy on the tummy. Gradually add a little chicken or chicken fat for flavor.

Any plans for the time off? Yup. I just got the word I'm having surgery in a few days. This time NOT on my ankle! (WooHoo lol) Being on/off crutches for years and carrying furniture for a living has done some damage to my shoulder (on top of the original injury that crushed my ankle when I was a teen) They're guessing 5 weeks in a sling contraption and 5 months recovery. No crutches can be used for even longer. So, ironically, I may be in a wheelchair for a shoulder injury. Sick sense of humor, but I find that hilarious!!! The orthopedic office has his own surgery suite so I don't have to go to a hospital. Otherwise, I would try to postpone it a few more weeks. Since I won't be able to drive, the timing is perfect.

Oh noo! Poor puppy!! I hope everything went well. How long with the cone of shame? Is she crated to be off her foot? Hercules wore threw his pads hiking several times and that was no fun while he healed.
The video games together while apart sounds fun. It made perfect sense. Maybe we can have a video-call movie night. From all the posts on Facebook, I need to watch Jumanji.

My ankle is doing OK. Better than I expected. I'm limping, and wearing my brace, but no crutches. I feel a little guilty not bringing the dogs for a walk in the nice weather today, but we went for a car ride! (Pharmacy, Post Office, and Bank) emoticon

My daughter has an apartment until May 29th - it's an oversized walk-in closet, kitchen, and bathroom, but 4 pets are fine. The new tenants can't move in until June 1st, so she has it for about 3-1/2 weeks. By then we will have grabbed the animals until she gets a house. 6 cats, 4 or 5 dogs, 4 chickens- not big deal. lol. I don't think we'll be taking the foster (soon to be adopted by my daughter or her best-friend. No one has put an offer on 'her' house, so we still have a shot of getting in. I HATE this mortgage company. I wish my husband listened to me and contacted one up here once the whole COVID19 rules changed and they backed out less than 24 hours before closing. She should have been grand-fathered at the old laws.

After Monday, I have until June 1st off! I'm being requested as a supplement instructor for Animal Behavior for 8 weks in the summer. I hope I get it! I love that class! Almost as much as Animal Nutrition. Fingers crossed. (And I can remote teach from Georgia lol)
