Introduction Text I have Meniere's Disease, which causes problems with hearing and balance. I am also a disabled person, so my resources ($) are limited. I don't think that should stop me from being healthy and fit!

Get more fit and lose weight...by making life style changes. My lowest recorded weight from my online medical charts here in California was 153 lbs. in 2010. I was eating protein in the form of meat with every meal, and this had a negative affect on my cholesterol levels. I have since switched to a vegetarian diet to stabilize along with cholesterol medications and I am doing a fantastic job with my cholesterol intake. I also broke my toe in 2011, which completely messed up my exercise routine. I want to lose 41 lbs. to get back to that, and then make more goals when I reach that weight loss. To further my goal, I would like to purchase 3, 5 lb. free weights; kettle bells and beginner DVDs; Carmen Brocklehurst Joy of Movement DVD; more workout shoes & clothes; a pedometer. Brush up on how to take my pulse. Add more vegetarian recipes to this website!

Currently, my goal is to workout 4-5 days a week using Leslie Sansone workouts plus 2 days of qi gong/tai chi. I would like to expand this to include more specific weight training.

Deepening my spiritual commitment and celebrating my Bat Mitzvah at the age of 45 (!) has been an important achievement in my adult life.
