Folks around me are having a hard time accepting my new food habits too. It's glorious to be essentially free of the inflammatory pain. Reducing the inflammation gave my body the ability to heal the pelvic fracture. To be able to run again is sheer joy for me. Having the strength to do a again tickles me. There's no doubt in my mind that I've been able to get back to these things because I'm nourishing my body in a manner that supports it in being at its best.
I have immense respect for folks like your son with the capability to run ultras. Incredible! I'm glad he's discovered what supports him in being at his best.
Nutrition is an incredibly powerful thing. Far more powerful than I ever realized. 1328 days ago

Running on the Curve was my second treadmill run. I've not run on treadmills before until this week. So, two runs on two entirely different treadmills. I found the Curve far more challenging. But, when I ran on the motorized treadmill I had it level. I didn't set it to challenge me. The Curve has no settings like the motorized treadmills do. I can see benefits to running on both. The motorized treadmill was far easier on my body physically than running outdoors even though I've been running on trails and not running on pavement or concrete. 1346 days ago
