Hello, My name is Starla. I've been battling the bulge for what seems like forever. I'm happy to say for the past 10yrs I've been maintaining 120+ lb weight-loss give or take 10-15 lbs. My lowest weight to date was 130lbs that was the result of becoming ill and having emergency surgery. I went from 150 to130 in about 18 days. I went from wearing a size 6 to a size 2. After the surgery it was about 60 days before I was aloud to eat solid foods. As you can imagine I looked like a skeleton with skin on, just plain frail. When I could eat again my goal was to gain my weight back. Needless to say, the weight gain happened quite rapidly and I over gained to the tune of 30 additional pounds. My weight has since stabilized and I have regained my strength so now its time to get busy and get my weight back in check.

I currently weigh 180 my goal weight is 145. My plan is to workout daily 60 minutes of cardio and weight training 3 days a week.

I plan to jot down everything I eat. Make wise healthy choices and see how we do with that. I'm really not wanting to go on a "diet". However, I will be eliminating all sugar, pasta, rice and bread. My meals will consist of fresh fruits and veggies and lean protein such as white fish and salmon on occassion.

My Goals:
1) Workout 6 days a week.
2) Eliminate sugar,pasta, rice and bread from my eating plan.

My New Exercise Routine:

Do some form of exercise for 45-60 min. a day to get back into the habit of working out.
Treadmill/elliptical/ Recumbent bike at the gym.

My Program:
1) Eat six small meals a day.
2) Workout 6 days a week.
3) Weight train 3 days a week.
4) drink half my body weight in water daily.
