I have reset my spark information numerous times. In the past, I have relied on motivation to carry me through. Motivation doesn''t last. You need determination to succeed. Which means pushing yourself through even when you don''t want to. This time around, I am going to utilize more of the SparkPeople features (including blogging more) and I will work on not making excuses. After all, my three boys are watching me and learning from me daily. What am I teaching them about determination and self discipline if I don't follow through? Plus, now they enjoy exercising with me. Its becoming a fun family activity. I need to continue, to succeed because they enjoy spending this time with me and I want to enjoy it for as long as I can.

My Goals:
My goal is to get healthy. I want to lose enough weight to wear normal clothes. Right now, I wear 24 in pants, I'd like to get to a 15 or smaller. I also want to rid myself of back and hip pain. I don't really care if my pounds drop, as long as I am healthy and in less pain.

My Program:
I am trying to create healthy habits. Its challenging and its all I can focus on at the moment.

Personal Information:
I am from a small town in Indiana. I am 38 years old, mother to a rambunctious 8 year old, an energetic 4 year old, and a wild 2 year old. I am trying to be a good mom, as well as trying to become a published author. I am a radio broadcast journalist, currently working as the News Director for a local radio station.

Other Information:
I like to read. I love reading fantasy, horror, mystery and even some drama. Pretty much anything but romance.

    I think that on some level, everyone feels alone with their struggles, because everyone undergoes different struggles at different points on their journey. Keep your chin up. I know it's hard sometimes, but all of us are capable of doing this!

    just a reminder that you need to make sure you post AT LEAST 3 times per week in order to stay in the challenge. if you don't you will be moved to floater and will be able to continue with the team, but will not beable to weigh in with the team. we don't want that :) i'm sure you've got a lot going on, but i hope to see more of you in the coming weeks. :)

Remember the key to success is to Post, post, post. We have been missing you. We don't want to leave anyone behind. You must alos post 3 days per week or be moved to a floater status.
