HI ~ Welcome to my SparkPage! My name is Teresa (T)

My Motto ~ Do what works for you - at this time. What I can do now is not what I could do when I started and will not be what I can do in the future. I'm discovering what works for me ~ absorbing what is helpful and getting rid of what isn't.

My Goals:
7 Daily Tasks ~ Doing these 7 daily tasks will cause me to reach my goals! SP is awesome, now I can put these tasks on my start page and check them off each day!

1. Motivation: read (in the morning) my long list of why I’m doing this and read it throughout the day when tempted, feeling blah, etc. *Good Health (every health benefit listed in detail) *All the things I can do but will be easier without carrying around a bunch of extra weight every second of every day *All the things I can't do at my current weight ~ Read the long list, with all the details in my blog named "7 Daily Tasks"

2. Exercise: move my body today in someway

3. Water: drink half my current body wt, part of which has electrolytes

4. Meal: my next meal is decided/planned

5. Support: post on social media and call/text friend/family

6. Reflect: evaluate what went well, what to fix, celebrated victories

7. Prepare: what do I need to do to be ready for tomorrow and strategi


My Program:
Fasting and Feasting ~ IF (Intermittent Fasting), I'm trying to eat Keto which is lower carbs - getting those carbs from veggies and dressing, protein 40 grams and healthy fat. When I reach goal weight then I want to switch to whole foods-plant based-low fat diet. I've started as a couch potato and now almost daily exerciser and from a eating style of mostly sugar and bread to making healthier eating choices. I don't want to carry around an extra 170 pounds every second of every day any more! March 29 started Faster Way To Fat Loss (FWTFL)



Personal Information:
I was active until graduating high school then just stopped being so active, lots of sitting putting more and more weight on ~ years later and I'm over 300 pounds! I feel VERY fortunate that I don't have any physical reasons that limit or restrict me exercising. I'm striving to move my body everyday - little by little become an active person again. Build endurance.

~What I put in is what I get out so take responsibility and make the effort because I am worth it!
~Don't look in the rear view mirror ~ keep eyes straight ahead
~What my eyes are focused on is what I will move toward so see myself at the goal and drive forward!
~May my goals outweigh my momentary satisfactions
~Think ~ will this get me to my goals?
~Be committed, do what it takes, accomplish what I want
~Think ~ This is working, I CAN do it, I'm making progress
~I'm proud of myself
~Goals without actions are worthless - move it!
~Pay attention: become an expert
