I am a mother of 3 that is over wight with Diabetes and other health issues due to stress. I have 2 special needs children with forms of Autism: My oldest has Asperger's syndrom and my middle child has full blown Severe Autism, so my life is busy and I get pushed to the side so much. I have come to the reality that if my children need me that they need me healthy!!( not overweight, and tired w/o energy) I am also married to a husband w/ Apergers but did not discover this until our daughters were diagnosed with them to begin with. This means in so many ways I have 3 people in my family who reuire a lot out of me, so it was so easy to put me last. I can NO LONGER do this b/c my sugars are out of control due to stress and lack of excercise. I have high blood pressure too, again due to stress. I have to make time for me to stay alive for my loved ones. In the stress of life I have allowed myself to gain over 100 pounds since marriage and parenthood 12 years ago. I never thought I'd ever weigh over 200 lbs. It was NEVER going to be me and well it is now me. I would run to the fridge to get comfort or the cabinet to those fatty snacks. Now I am suffering bad health issues due to this. I need a program to help me get to my goals. I am hoping to make friends on this journey to get me there and encourage me often to keep it up. I can NOT do this ALONE!! If I could just get back to my happy H.S. graduation weight and feel good again.(which I will admit was not a skinny minnie but semi healthy and very energetic with a life full of joy) That is my story and I hope I can meet my goals and be healthy once again!:)

I will be exercising every day now and eating on a meal plan and watching my food intake.(henceforth a meal plan).

    Wow you really do have alot going on in your life. But losing the weight to last longer in your familys life is a good reason to lose the weight. Im losing weightso i can have kids :) I also have worked with all sorts of special ed, am im working at grafton now which is a special ed home/school and going to college to become a spec ed teacher. I have tried to lose weight before and have succeed for a lil then stopped and regained but right now my mom is helping motivate me by going to gym with me and i am helping her and i also created a board in my room of a picture that I HATE of myself, my goals, why i wanna lose weight, and some inspirational quotes. I also write down all the food i eat as well as when i exercise and my weight and measurements. I am also following the weight watcher core plan which is really simple and you dont have to count points are really buy special foods. I also have noticed that hiding junk food in the house so it is not in my line of sight and all times helps alot :) I wish u lots of luck on this journey because I KNOW it is not easy and if you do need anything ou know where to find my page :)
