    Hi Twig,
Read on Rebecca's blog that Robert is doing better. That is great. I am so happy. I am sure he still has more hurtles ahead of him. But it is encouraging. God is good.

The sun is just starting to come out. It has been so gloomy all day long. I know you are still raking leaves. Can I ask why you can't mulch them w/your lawn mower? Hubby brought some mulching blades. He has them for the push mower and the John Deere and it works wonders. We just leave them on the ground to decompose or sweep them up to put on our garden. We use to rake leaves years ago but have been doing this for a good 10 years or so. My neighbors are mulching now instead of burning. It saves a lot of time and the back.
I will be thinking of you on Friday.

And you? Getting your ducks ready for the husband's surgery? God bless him, his medical team AND cleaning crew, God bless his recovery...

I did TOO much yesterday-- I pulled out the Leslie DVD that is an hour, 43 minutes, and squats and lunges are at the end ... and my end is sore. I need to do it more often, but at that length of time, it doesn't fit into my schedule.

And since we were blessed with sunshine and little wind, I cleaned up the raised garden beds, dragging plants to the poop spreader, then pulled out some spent plants. I was so exhausted-- thankful to get so much done outside before the rain last night.

I'm doing fine at home, family, too. College and highschool g'kiddos had their tests, looking for negative results. College girl misses school, but is doing well hanging out in her room. Our Best Boy misses all the things he is involved in-- work, music, classes, PEOPLE. His germ seems to be more on the allergy side as of yesterday, so mild symptoms. Results in 3-5 days.
