Introduction Text I am 47 year old wife, mother, and grandmother. I am extremely overweight. I have tried lots of diets in the past. I would lose the weight and then gain it back again. I am ready to change my life. I want to get healthy not only for myself, but I want to be around to see my two grandchildren grow up. My doctor says that I need to lose the weight. My health is in danger. I believe God has helped me find this website. With God on my side and SparkPeople I know I am on the right track.

1.Keep a food journal . 2.Eat more fruits and vegetables. 3.Exercise daily . 4.Eat good carbs not bad carbs.

I have seeing a medical nutritionist that my doctor recommended. She has me on a diet similar to Atkins Diet.

ALABAMA IS MY HOME. I AM A 47YEAR OLD FEMALE MARRIED FOR 29YEARS TO A WONDERFUL MAN WHO I MET AND MARRIED RIGHT OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL. STILL IN LOVE TODAY. I HAVE TWO GROWN CHILDREN. ONE MARRIED,ONE SINGLE. I HAVE TWO BEAUTIFUL GRANDCHILDREN ALSO.

I HAVE READ ALL THE TWLIGHT BOOKS. I LOVE ROMANCE FICTION BOOKS. I LIKE TO DO CRAFTING. AND I LOVE TO GO TO YARD SALES AND THRIFT STORES TO SEE WHAT I CAN FIND TO ADD TO MY COLLECTIBILIES.
