Just do it!

Correction: 2021 is the Year of Me. Still working on my 2020 goal.

2020 is the Year of Me as I journey towards improved health and wellness. With a great Q1, Q2 & Q3 were overshadowed by stress eating from the pandemic. I am determined to finish Q4 strong, from my commitment and actions and Spark support and the Fall 5% Challenge. Q4 was a disappointment. Just started Winter 5% Challenge. Week 1: Lost 5#. My resolve feels strong. I WILL do this!

Have a bookkeeping business going that has me working much too much; watch 6 yr old granddaughter 2 days weekly and grand toddler the same 2 days....and still must make time for my client work, so I am very busy all of the time.

Other Information:
Enjoy time with family and friends, mini vacations, a little gardening, online jigsaw puzzles, and when time permits reading. Recently got interested in watercolor after a class...haven't really found the time to continue this interest.

“Write out your own definition of success.
Fill it with a mix of stardust and wishes and down-to-earth things,
and provide all the insight you can give it.

And then go out… and live it.”

Good Morning! Thanks for the sunshine goodie. It is actually sunny today and when I woke up -20 C! I was a bit surprised by that and started a fire in our wood burning stove just to get the house a bit warmer and cosier.
I agree with you that we often want to get somewhere quickly, but losing 20 pounds in a week isn't going to happen, right? I heard this and love it and it is a mantra for me now:
"I'm satisfied with what is and eager for more."
So I can easily use that as a mantra when I have lost one pound. Satisfied with that and eager for more!
Also Eckhart Tolle said something like "our power is in the NOW." If you think about it, all we have is "now." It is always "now." For me it is putting myself in a place of powerlessness to look back on what was, or be upset that what I want is not here. If I focus on the absence of a thing then I become unhappy and possibly prevent myself from taking inspired action from that happier facet of who I am towards what I really want.
