My Goals:
Lose weight, increase strength & stamina, reduce stress

My Program:
Overall plan - healthy eating, exercise, yoga. journaling, meditation

Highest weight: most likely 300ish, but I stopped weighing when I hit 298 (spring '14).
Restart on Sparkpeople: 288 1/1/15. Reverted to old habits, rebooted again on 10/14/15

Personal Information:
I'm from Boston, a city I love despite the weather :). Currently, I work in the publishing industry and also as a counselor for youth & families. I have a passion for travel, writing, reading and hiking.

Other Information:
Reasons I want to lose weight:

1. Healthier body (no more achy joints, muscle weakness)
2. Increased energy.
3. Longevity - eventually be a strong & healthy senior and avoid disease.
4. Enhance stamina/strength to be able to hike/bike/ski, etc.
5. To live more fully/stop holding myself back due to weight.
6. Increased confidence.
7. Be a better example for the children in my life.
8. Travel to exotic places & not be limited by my weight
9. Feel like I look great in clothes again & can wear whatever I want.
10. Being strong/confident in my own skin will help me be more assertive in goal-seeking.
