spring is finally here and the nursery had black eyed Susan vine like the one I had seen last year pictured below. can't wait until mine is cascading all over the deck just like that.Working on my Etsy shop. I know, not fitness related, but it's my activity lately. Shortest day of winter almost here. Can't wait until days get longer again!Trying to cut down #alcohol so treating myself to a special mixed fruit drink, tart cherry juice, fresh pinapples, ice waterTook a stroll through the garden, lilacs coming in and fresh asparagus. Picked a stalk and ate it raw, yum! Managed to sneak in a few squats. #managedstressAsparagus, kale, beans, mint. Love fresh veggie season. Picked me 4 asparagus and had them raw with lunch.Spring walks through the garden are good for the soul. Not too many calories burned with a slow stroll but it's about healing the mind and heart sometimes.Sparking in the garden!Mountain hiking 2 days in a row! Yesterday 1 mile and today 2 miles. Feeling good ❤Mountain hiking 2 days in a row! Yesterday 1 mile and today 2 miles. Feeling good ❤Grilled and chilled salmon and asparagus salad with pumpkin seeds and balsamic vinegar / EVOO with a side of smashed potatoesEven though I had events with lots of food all weekend I stayed within range mostly and even not so bad at the big event thanks to all the dancingdThis week tart cherries are ripe so that's my exercise. Up and down ladder, reaching, stretching, picking, move the ladder, bring them to house and back for another round. So far enough to fill 4 one gallon freezer bags.Cherry picking all week morning workout!First fresh beet from my garden in morning smoothie!is such a good reminder for me! This passage was advice an older woman gave to a younger woman - after they had done all they could reasonably do it was time to sit and be still, to wait and see how the matter turns out and then move forward from there. Sometimes it's easy to think we need to DO something, fix something, move something forward, figure out next steps. Patiently waiting to see how things develop *IS* doing something.
