Paused when she stopped to smell interesting smells, and forgot to re-start😀

Met my goal with a whole week to spare! 🚲
RUB MY BELLY!!! She brings me such joy🤗 and those waklies are invigorating!
My happy walking partner this sunny day.ðŸ˜
My reason to walk.
My walking buddy is not happy with her tri-weekly medicated bath.
Acting as a tour guide, did a 3 mile hike.
4 hour hike today.
The next time someone scoffs about chasing Pokemon!
I LOVE MY NEW BIKE!!!!
The reason my bike ride was only 2.8 miles instead of 6.2 miles.
Killed my cardio!
day 75 of my streak for "Log in and spin the SparkPoints wheel" earned 11/12/2016
day 60 of my streak for "Track food or water" earned 11/17/2016
Makua
My walking buddy.
Want to try and do this distance at least once every two weeks.
Walking the dog helping me get steps!
Goals met!
Didn't think I would make my goal of 7 hours since I worked an extra 4 hours.
A little slow. The humidity was so draining an I was riding into the wind.
First week of all âï¸ !
Happy national puppy day!
Busy 24 hours
Grilled round steak, peppers and spaghetti squash sautéed in olive oil and lots of garlic.
First sweaty post workout selfie.
Not a long walk, but most of it was spent walking back and forth in the sand while my fur baby frolicked in the shore break.
Killed it on the elliptical last night, followed by 40 minutes of upper body weights.
Not bad this week. Shooting for all ⭐️
Bought a Kalua Pork plate at the cafeteria last night. It didn't come with a vegetable, so I bought a full sized chicken Caesar salad 🥗 there was two meals worth of food, with leftover meat. Smartest thing I did was bring my extra kitchen scale to work. #knowwhataservingis
The nice thing about cool, cloudy weather-Makua doesn't have to wait for sundown to take a walk.
Walked Makua after I got home from work last night. It is just too hot and humid during the day to take him on a good walk.
It was just too hot to cook today, so I stopped at Costco and bought a rotisserie chicken and the fixings for a nice salad.
Made it today, but it was down to the wire; 11:55 pm when they all turned green.
My poor pooped baby. I took him on a 2.77 mile walk to help me get my Fitbit steps and miles for the day.
My morning view on my way to work.
Snack time. 🍅🌶🥒
Spent about an hour romping at the beach with this handsome boy. It felt so good after all the cleaning I did earlier.
Just checked yesterday's report. Holy smoke, perfect 👌 on my macros for the first time. (This is the division set for me by my nutritionist.)
Lunch is a Subway Double Oven Roasted Chicken Chopped Salad, milk, and apple slices.
My fur baby's response when I tell him it's time to go home. He ❤️ the beach 🌊!
Finally got up the nerve to Try the Rowing Machine, aka Erg Machine. I don't get my HR up as high, but I feel it in my whole body. As I get more comfortable with it, hopefully I can get my HR up.
BL Mission: SlimPossible ITC challenge-eat a new or rarely eaten summer fruit. I haven't had Lychee in ages!!
#NSV. My sweet rescue is a bit timid and nervous. He won't eat unless we are right next to him. I usually sit on the foot stool and then struggle to get up. The squat are paying off! Got up in 1 try this morning 😊.
12 hour dayshift...BRING IT ON!
week 14 of my streak for "Exercise for at least 180 minutes per week" earned 7/1/2017
I bought this at Safeway, it is from Lucerne Foods, Inc. I don't know if you can see it, there is only 85 mg of sodium per serving. Thought I would share.
Saw this Hawaiian Monk Seal sunning itself on the lava rocks on my bike ride today.
Not a lot of difference in weight, but I have been doing ST 3x a week since the first picture was taken.
Spending some beach time with my baby.
#deliciousdailymoment Nothing better than doggie kisses while enjoying a cool dip.
Worked an overnight shift, too hot to sleep more than a few (4) hours, but a great day to take the furry baby out to enjoy the benefits of living across the street from the beach.
I have one pooped pooch.
Wendy's salad for me and Mom for lunch.
I was actually IN BED by 11:00! I don't usually suffer from insomnia, but I just couldn't settle. I think part of was I really needed to sleep, working a 7 am to 7 pm shift today.
Better last night, but another 12 hr day shift today. Off tomorrow, so I should get a decent amount of sleep then.
A "Lemons and Lemonade" moment. Water main break causes major gridlock going home, so I get off the bus and bike 🚲 the remaining 5 miles. I beat the bus by 10 minutes.
Trying to back on track with healthy eating. Lunch: Alaskan Pollack Burger, mixed vegetables and quinoa.
So, it’s been a year since this sweetheart came into or lives. Love ❤️ him so much.
Simple lunch.

This is a prime example of why people have issues: first article tells you to do these exercises and eat these foods for a flat midsection and the second article gives you recipes for high glycemic, high saturated fat foods.
Staying out of the gym due to sniffles but working out at home comes with it’s own challenges!
Took the doggo for a walk to warm up before doing ST at home. This is towards the end and he knows we are heading back. My 🐶 does not like walks that do not include the beach, 😆!
We went to see the Honolulu City Lights this past Saturday
Big waves 🌊 on the west side today. Unable to take my fur baby to his happy place, just too dangerous.
The insult; I am working a 12 hour day shift. The injury happened on my way to work when the bike rack caught my hand. I am not a morning person 😵
View from the doctor’s office while I wait for my appointment. I work for 4 hours right after and hopefully the rain will be gone by the time I clock out.
Sign at my gym. Thought it was funny.
We had heavy rain and thunder storms the other day, so I put rubber booties on my doggy. He wasn’t sure what was going on.
Tried to hold out, but 12 hours down and two more to go. I need the pick me up. Good thing it doesn’t keep me from 😴
Happy New Year. Took this right around midnight after getting home from work.
Waiting for Papa to come home.
Working a 12 hr pm shift tonight. Preparation is key to reaching my goals. Lunch-tuna salad and celery. Dinner-pollack patty and veggies. Snack-Celery, grape tomatoes, and protein drink. Breakfast-quinoa breakfast casserole. Coffee with a reusable K-pod to avoid the Starbucks Kiosk. I got this!
Went to the gym before going to work.
Guess who is doing overtime on an overnight shift? Co-worker still out, so 12 hours tonight and 8 hours tomorrow night.
Got this to help me reach my goals. It’s on my bedroom closet door, so I will come face to face with my goals every day.
Bad new: co-worker is out aging and I started working at 11 pm instead of 3 pm. Good news: I went to the gym already and Makua got another beach day.
Took a nap before work and woke up to this. #nightshiftproblems #rescuedog
REALLY wanted something sweet to go with my coffee and fruit wasn’t going to do the job. A lot of sugars, but probably better than the donuts 🍩 😏
Cuddling while watching the shows I DVR’d, oh yeah at 3 am. #Nightshiftproblems Puppy Bowl, Dog Bowl, and Pitbulls and Parolees.
Talked myself out of the gym last night before work and almost didn’t go this morning after. Glad I #justdidit!

Ready for my Night shift.
Got my gym time in before work. #moveit
Took Makua for a walk and had the Pokémon Go app open. Couldn’t resist a picture. I almost seems like he sees it.
Doing body weight exercises at home, can you tell where the dog sat on me mid-set? 🤪
Happy weekend.
Today is my last scheduled day until next Tuesday, big plans for tomorrow.
And there are still 2 hours left in the day.( working an overnight shift)
Forgot my Hydro Flask at home and had to buy bottled water for my work out. I hate doing that, not just the cost, but the nasty plastic bottles. I went to work after and we have a recycling bin in the break room, so at least these will stay out of the environment.
Active recovery day, so took Makua to his happy place for a walk. Just over 1.5 miles in just under an hour.
Took a bike ride to Mākaha beach. Beautiful day for a ride.
Makua says happy #nationalpetday! Don’t forget our furry babies need exercise, too!
I know we've all said it.
You know it get you going!
Guess what today was?
My poor baby is in the cone of shame to stop him from licking/chewing his paws. He has a yeast infection and we need to clear it up.
Playing with my new camera, and got photobombed.
Finished the BL Spring Challenge on Wednesday. Only lost 4.8 lbs during the 10 week period, but look at my measurements! Still a win in my book. #progress
Beautiful day for taking my sweetie to his happy place and getting some vitamin D and 🌊

Quick and easy dinner tonight.

Hallelujah, managed 8 hours the night before I work my 12 hour shift (7 pm to 7 am over night)
Just noticed that the waist band of my athletic undies has the phrase “Live Life Inspired” on it! Even your underwear can cheer you on, lol!
Will be very glad when 7am rolls around!
12 hr night shift ✅ 30 minute bike ride to the gym after ✅ 40 minute leg day work out 🏋️♀️ ✅ ready for my 🛏😴
Pretty much crashed yesterday. I worked Fri., Sat., and Sun. night (S & S were 12 hr shifts), did upper body before work on Sun and Lower body after work Mon morning. Hitting the gym in a few for core day, then shopping for noms to get through rest of my work week; 2 12 hour dayshifts, UGH! At least I have a break between them.
NAILED IT 🎉
Another 12 hr day shift!
Working a 12 hour night shift and then will be going to the gym after. Wanted to make sure I had enough healthy
Don’t know if the music was just right or if I was just feeling energized, but crushed my cardio tonight!
It’s a good night in the ED (won’t use the “Q” or “S” word) so I am working on a hat for my upcoming winter vacation. Busy hands distract me from the super-sized bag of peanut butter filled pretzels!
Makua: Whatcoo doin’ down dere Mama? Me: Realizing I should have vacuumed the floor before starting my core workout. Dog hair is my favorite accessory, I wear it with EVERYTHING!🤪
This stuff is a lifesaver. Growing up in Hawaii, rice is THE staple. I HAVE to have it with certain foods (beef/curry stew and chili). This is so much healthier than the white rice I grew up with and a fast fix if I don’t have pre-cooked brown rice or quinoa portions in the freezer.
When you haven’t synced your Fitbit since waking, then leave it at work after you take it off to wash your dishes. Last I looked at my Charge 2 I had at least 7,000 steps. I have a One that I can use for now, but I won’t get credit for all the steps after I left work.
Well, I guess preparing for a hurricane is one way to get your steps in😳

I love leg day, but it has me pretty sore today.
This was me, I finally fell asleep around 7 am. (alarm went off at 11 am). I don't usually have any problems falling asleep, but when I do, I toss and turn for hours.
Not feeling well, caught my Mom’s cold. People from Hawaii will understand lemon with li hing mui seeds. Better than anything else for a cough and scratchy throat.
First trip back to the gym in about a week. Feeling better, but definitely not 100%. I concentrated on a steady pace for endurance to finish instead of burst of hard work for calorie burn.
After work out 🏋️♀️ noms! I was HUNGRY!
Today is active recovery day, so beach 🏖 time for my baby. We will go for a stroll later when it’s not so hot.
Decided to go chase Pokemon this afternoon. Not only did I make my Fitbit steps, I managed to complete 1 special research and 3 field research tasks.
Makua wants to know what the heck I am doing down on the floor. This is one of the better views he gave me. (He still tries to sit on my head!)
One way to cut back on munching is to keep my hands busy. Just finished this fi my mom. Going to start on a matching scarf.
Anybody playing Pokémon Go, I need friends to complete a Special Research task. Please add me.
Brekkie is served! Omelette made with 1 egg and 2 egg white servings, shredded zucchini, and Mexican blend cheese; cucumber slices and sweet vine peppers. Oh yeah, must have my coffee ☕️! 300 calories of fuel!
Fall Challenge ITCs has us playing Chutes and Ladders. Guess I’ll be doing my core work out today instead of upper body, 😂. I had a bad day yesterday, so the nutrition tasks are all great reminders and nudges to get back on track.
I was looking for an "Aloha Friday" image and came across this. Hope everyone has a great week-end!
Getting back into bringing my lunch!
Did a deep cleaning of the kitchen. Tomorrow’s the living room!
Finally got to go eat my dinner! Just in time, I was getting hangry!
Two more weeks until we leave for our month long vacation. Got my resistance bands and swiss ball packed, no excuses.

Tried to add this picture to my earlier post, but I couldn’t do it on my computer for some reason. This is Boomer, my nieces Australian Red Healer/Bull Terrier mix when he was dragging me hither and yon across the field.
Took the Boomtastic for a walk. He was very disappointed that he couldn’t find any bunnies 🐰.
Had a wonderful one-month vacation in Utah with my sister and her family. One of the many pictures I took, but was unable to post. This was taken at a place called Firehole in the Flaming Gorge Recreational Area.
Maybe these turkeys know why the chicken crossed the road.
It doesn't help that I cam back to 2 12 hour overnight shifts.
Third or fourth day of vacation, and it's snowing.
So the dog sitters inadvertently over fed Makua while we were gone. Mr.” I don’t like to take walks!” is not a happy doggo. We want a healthy boy, so 40 minutes a day until we check his weight.
Went to Hardware Ranch in Blacksmith Fork Canyon, Huyrm, UT. They feed the wild elk during the winter and you can take wagon/sleigh rides out among them.

Driving back from Logan, UT to Manila UT. We were probably still in Wyoming when I took this, On US 30 W. Since I was unable to post while on vacation, I am sharing a photo a day.
Swans on Bear Lake.
More vacation
My grand-nephew and his Nana (my sister). A complicated situation, but we had him with us for the week before Christmas.
Saw this on FB.
We don’t have Panera here, but we have Aloha Salads. This is the Hot Hawaiian. It has Kale, mixed greens, spinach, cabbage, mango, papaya, black beans, red onion, grape tomatoes, jalapeños, cilantro, feta cheese, roasted chicken breast, and a mango vinaigrette dressing. How’s that rainbow 🌈!
Going to try some of this for dinner tonight. I miss pasta, hoping this will be a good substitute.
Active recovery day, went for a stroll along the beach. Someone was very happy 😊.
My 70 y/o Mom joined my gym, signed up for 3 months of 1 on 1 coaching and ended up on their Instagram page!!
Today’s work out, now off to work.
Someone posted this on Facebook. I didn’t think I would need my flannel jammies after I got home from Utah.

#cardio #fitby50
UUGHH! Day shift!
I shared this on instagram yesterday. There was a time when I wouldn’t have gone anywhere near the squat racks or deadlift area. I was too unsure of myself and of my capabilities. Yesterday was the last day of an 8 week functional fitness program and I decided to really push myself. 90 lbs on the deadlift!! I am starting the program over and I hope to 1. Be lighter at the end and 2. Deadlift at least 120 by the time I finish.
In the middle if a major bathroom reno. Been eating on the run, not good choices, and no formal exercise for over a week. Will be very glad when it’s done.
Such a beautiful day, too bad I am working. I did take a walk on my lunch break.
Been a while since I’ve been on my bike. Glad I haven’t deconditioned too much.
I’m not the only one who has put on a little weight. Took Makua out for a walk last night. He still isn’t happy going out, but he didn’t lay down in the middle of the sidewalk and refuse to move. I call that progress.
Finally done with the mudding and sanding. I can start painting tomorrow!🤗
Another evening stroll with this reluctant walker.
And now he’s ready for bed!
Sharing for National Siblings Day. I am the older one. Love my little sis to the moon and back.
Not a long walk, mainly back and forth along the shore break while he raced around, but better than sitting on the couch!

Joined 4/9/19, pledging to ride at least 100 miles. I love riding, and I will be doing it any way, so this is a way to not only help our littlest cancer warriors, but to motivate me to go further and ride more often.
Took a rare daytime walk.
Did my first ST work out in almost 2 months! My body is letting me know, a little stiff and sore at work tonight.
It’s been a little over a month since I started using the cpap. I am still struggling to get 7 hours of sleep regularly, but I have definitely noticed I am getting better quality sleep. Less restless and awake periods according to my Fitbit, and I feel rested most of the time.
My reluctant walking buddy is really hauling tail! 😄 I would be happy with a nice stroll, but he’s like “Okay, if I gotta walk, then let’s MOVE!”
One of the reasons I like to take Makua walking in Princess Kahanu Estates is the beautiful landscaping in so many of the yards.
Another pretty afternoon walk with Makua.
With my crazy work schedule, I still haven't finished painting our renovated bathroom. I did manage to finish priming all the sheet rock, yesterday. Since heavy cleaning counts, thought to check if painting does. SP puts it in cardio, so double win.
Didn’t give in to the negative forces and hit the gym after my 12 hour day shift. 50 minutes of cardio and 40 minutes of ST.
Made a breakfast “taco” with a corn tortilla, egg, lean ham and colby cheese. Side of cucumbers, and my coffee, and I am ready for my day.
Decided to go short for the upcoming summer months.
A friend shared this on FB. This is so true!

My job has an incentive program to encourage people to bike to work. You get a card and collect 6 stamps to get either a free smoothie or 1/2 pound from the salad bar. I brought my own add ons, saved space in my lunch cooler.
Riding to raise money for childhood cancer research.
Because of others taking vacation, I won't have a full week-end off for the next few weeks. Oh, and I am covering a DAYSHIFT today! I am so not a morning person.
I love the protein bistro boxes from Starbucks, but not the price. I found a copy cat recipe for the muesli bread and made my own.
#2-Grateful for this cuddle-bug.
#3-I usually take it for granted, but today I am really grateful for coffee.
#4-Grateful for two full bathrooms. Those are glass jalousies for my bedroom window. I have them soaking in the bathtub while I work on reframing the window for an air conditioner. Didn’t get it done tonight, so that is the safest place for them until I put in the new louvres.
Daily gratitude for August 22; I am grateful for the free exercise app from my gym. It has 100s of routines with all types of equipment or just body weight. You can customize them to your own abilities or you can build your own. It times your work out and rest periods. I really love using it.
If you have the week-end off, enjoy!

What to do with your half hour lunch break when you are drinking lunch instead of eating it? Why walk around and catch Pokémon, of course!
Gratitude for August 24: grateful for my handsome son who was willing to get on a bus for 2 1/2 hours to help me install my window AC. Now I’ll be able to get good sleep during the day when I work night shift this coming week.
Gratitude for August 25: happy to celebrate 33 years together for my Mom and (step)Dad!
Gratitude for August 26: Grateful to spend National Dog Day with this cuddle bug.
Super easy dinner. Maple Mustard Salmon from Fun Without FODMAPs, quinoa and rice blend cooked in broth, and steamed broccoli.
Spent some beach time with my cute-iful fur baby.
Yesterday was his Gotcha Day/Bark Day. He has been giving us love and cuddles for 3 years now. He is so patient with me dressing him up for pictures!
Had my meniscus taken care of, then sprained/strained/tore my MCL!! Can’t win for losing.
Hurt my MCL about two weeks ago. Found a hinged brace that is not made of neoprene. (I get a major rash from neoprene.) Will bite the bullet and work with PT to strengthen the joint.
Happy Holidays from Makua.
Taking Pop to the Doctor today. I know I’ll need to eat, so packing a frozen cheese stick with some baby carrots. By the time I am ready to eat them, the cheese will be thawed, and still cold.
Someone posted this in the employee bathroom.
Taken today. I am actually down about 10 lbs since I started my journey towards Gastric By-pass. I have been cleared by the dietician and the psychologist, and I have pre-surgery class and consultation with the surgeon on the 14th. I am more than ready, my knees are giving me trouble again.
Finally back to the gym. Did pretty good, though I had to turn the lunges into stationary ones. My knee isn’t quite up to the full movement yet.
It’s been a VERY busy day!! Working over night, so I still have 3 more hours to rack up steps.
When you are short on time, Wendy’s small chili (added a brown rice and quinoa blend) and 2 garden side salads. I added more veggies and 3 oz of canned chicken breast. Lunch and dinner done now off to work.

Coco the chiweenie
I had the window seat on the flight home, Friday. We were approaching Honolulu right around sunset.
For those of us that do, hang tough!
Tried to take Makua for a walk yesterday afternoon, but he gave me a hard time about it. I managed to do 25 minutes.
Making knitted ear savers for my co-workers.
We lost my niece in February of this year. Last week I altered my routine after work and stumbled across this little one. I had every intention of finding a foster, we are not cat people and my dog is afraid of them, when my sister made o comment on my Facebook post. My niece had been bugging them for a new kitty before she passed away. I couldn’t give her up after that. I have named her “Rosey” in honor of my niece. The dog is slowly adapting.
Mom and I have been making masks for about four weeks now. I was working on sone this afternoon when the sewing machine went down. I was able to get it into the repair shop, but it will take 2-3 weeks.
Dinner tonight: large salad of romaine, asparagus, grape tomatoes, carrots, and cucumber topped with cut up Huli-huli chicken and sesame ginger dressing. Plus a nice cold glass of berry zinger herbal tea, yum!
Saw this sunbather from the road when I was on my bike ride. Glad I took my good camera with me.
Took a drive for Mother's Day and stopped at a beach Park on the north shore. This looks like a lot of fun, but I bet it is harder than it looks.
Pre-op diet has no grain source carbohydrates, so lunch is 3 oz of ham wrapped around a cheese stick and all these veggies.

Surgery was Monday, I was discharged at 5 pm Tuesday and went home and crashed. Wednesday started my new routine! I haven’t had that many stars in a long time.
I started playing Pokémon Go because it was a fun activity that could be done as a family and you had to walk for certain rewards. This is only the second time I have earned 25 km in a week! All the walking I am doing post surgery is paying off!!
Best week I have had in a long time!
Got my hair cut today, went super short, because I don't want to fuss with it.
First Bike ride since surgery, and in about a month. I can tell, my conditioning was not where it was. I can only get better from here.
Going back to work tomorrow after Gastric Bypass Surgery. I am working 4 days in a row, 3 of which will be 12 hour shifts. Have my protein prepped, just need to portion it out into 2 oz servings.
My food to take to work; portion control is so important after RNYGB, 8 hours worth of food looks so small. I have 2 oz of chopped chicken, tuna salad, and protein pudding. 1 oz of cucumbers, riced cauliflower, and strawberries. Protein powder to mix and drink between meals, and my lovely (😝) chewable vitamin and calcium tablets.
Note to self; don’t forget your bicycle multi-tool. I got this far and my seat came very loose. Thank goodness I remembered my bus pass, or I would have had to walk the rest of the way back.
Not a fan of bathroom selfies, but wanted to share my #nsv. The pants are a little snug, but I am wearing size M scrubs, down form XL. #RNYGB
My gym, for now. COVID numbers are spiking, just can’t take the risk.

So simple, yet a major milestone. I am 3 months post RNYGB surgery, and I am allowed to start on fresh veggies. I have missed that more than anything else! #foodfeats
Time for a Costco run. #pandemic

After ride snack of a small apple and natural peanut butter.
If you'off and have a long week-end, Enjoy!
The satisfaction of scraping the last of the jar of PB and coming up with exactly 1 serving.
So it happened again. Scrub machine was out of my size (m) so tried the next size down. Welcome to size SMALL!! I really need to do some clothes shopping, over half my wardrobe is in the donation box, and the rest is heading that way.
Pop stopped at Seafood City and picked up some Teriyaki Chicken Skewers. 1 is perfect for dinner with some steamed broccoli! #mealsfromhome
Hiked up to the Maili Pillbox today. A short (1.25 miles) but strenuous (597 ft elevation climb). Took some pictures, will share if any of them came out.
View to of Maili and Waianae From The Maili Pillbox.
Nanakuli to Kaena and Ko Olina. Well worth the hike.
Plate size matters. BLC Nutrition challenge; eat off of smaller plates for portion control. I made Kodiak Cakes high protein waffle sticks for breakfast. According to their portion recommendation, this is 1/2 a serving (I have had RNYGB, so this is a lot for me) on a standard 10 1/2 inch plate and on an 8 inch plate.
What I woke up to for the third day in a row. Well, at least it isn’t snow.
Someone had a hernia repair done today, and is not very happy.

Goal was 140. I can’t even remember the last time I weighed this much.
6 months post #RNYGB. (Surgery was pushed back due to the pandemic) my heaviest was 216 so total amount lost is just over 76 lbs. #BeforeAndAfter
6 months post RNYGB, total of just over 76 lbs lost. #BeforeAndAfter
#vaccinated
Thanks to Covid, decided that I am going to avoid the bus as much as possible. Rode my bike to work yesterday and today. Hopefully I can improve with time.
Doing some stash busting and playing around with color work. Might be time to try my hand at Fair Isle.
I have been participating in the Shefit 30 Challenge since the 4th. I have to modify most of the moves, since I aggravated the arthritis in my right knee enough to not be able to weight bear for a day. Having fun pushing myself and chatting with other ladies on the FB page. Hopefully I will get picked to win some if their stuff.
My sister and me at my nephew's wedding.

Thank you, TANCALIEL, for this yummy Mediterranean Salmon recipe shared on Spark Recipes. I tweeked just a little, and cooked in parchment instead of foil.
Love that my Polar HRM is wishing me Happy Birthday.
Not bad for a bum knee, but I will be glad when I can get back on my road bike and leave the stationary one alone.
week 3 of my streak for "Exercise for at least 180 minutes per week" earned 3/21/2015
Spinach, frozen strawberries, mangos, peaches, & pineapple, with sugar free protein powder. Love my Nutri-Bullet.
Making small improvements, wonder how I will do when I'm back on a real bike!
My mid-morning snack; over night oats w/apples and cinnamon
Last night's cardio on the stationary bike!
I put a writeable canning label on my 40 oz Hydro Flask. The date and a check mark each time I empty it, great way to really keep track.
Not bad for a bum knee!
Doc said weight bear and bend my knee as tolerated. I did keep the RMP between 50 and 60 and resistance at 10. ST was all arms.
My first CSA box had 3 broccoli crowns, so I made my Asian Style Chicken And Broccoli
Thank you, Spark People, for helping me become healthy enough to be able to save another person.
Got another work out in, slow and steady for the knee, but kicked it up with upper body ST.
Be glad to get the stitches out on the 28th.
PBfit and banana over night oats.
Another treat from my CSA box. Japanese cucumber, tomatoes, and sweet Ewa onions, chopped and seasoned with white balsamic vinegar.
Dinner tonight; Broiled White Fish Parmesan over quinoa with a spring mix salad topped with my cucumber and tomato mix and crumbled feta.
First road ride in almost 5 months. I took it at an easy pace, but ended up going farther than I intended, thanks to a forgotten bus pass and wallet.
Sunset 4-24-15, from Ulehawa Beach Park, NÄnÄkuli, HI.
Yeah! Stitches are out!!😀
