And I overshot my 2 hour 'time block' for fitness. Will fix that. got it done, but not without some contemplation. How much of it is necessary? is trying all sorts of things. did a rethink..not on the list...but on the time of activity. I learn pretty quickly. is going to have another great day. Slice the cabbage, drizzle oil, sprinkle with salt & pepper...roast at 350-400 (depending on your time) for 30 minutes, or until they're whatever doneness you prefer. Almost impossible to mess up.Got mornings workout in. The rest of the day will be a cakewalk..and, foind hoe set my status in the mobile! Winning!!!Got my workout done. i’m working on using the mobile app page for “Spark Points” as my checklist. although i drink a lot of water, i don’t feel like tracking it. i’ll try to turn that off today. After...i dunno...10years... :-) i’m following the mobile Sparkpeople app. and going through the checklist there. i’m hoping this gives me the check for “Community” post. lol. y’all have a great day. And if you haven’t listened to Dr. Byrd’s video on how 5 minutes can make a difference....then i recommend it.Almost didn't keep streak today. But, I had a great day. DAWGS are winning at this point (half) hopefully they'll bring home some sugar!is laughing. Just as soon as you say "I didn't break my streak".. then BOOM, you break it. But it's all good. Had a great day with grandkids and daughter. Wife doing better. Getting ready for the coming lockdown. You should be too. Just saying.Spent the day clearing 7 of these, plus some other areas. I let them grow over the winter. This year got out of hand because of all the rain. If you haven’t started yet...plant. You may need it. Oh.. and for me...GMO stands for Growing My Own. :-) #BeforeAndAfterSettling in to our Middle Georgia home. Doing a simple walking workout. Just finished. Tracking the time per lap...will quicken it as I continue.During this time, I have no plan that includes being in a gym. We are back in Middle Georgia. Our street is shaped like an eight. Each side is a mile long. One section has four hills. This is the section I walked this morning & the time. Plan is to lower the time. Simple Trackable Achievable Necessary .. see my blog for more info. This semi retired life is working me harder than full time! She never made me go to the library before. What? It’s for the grandkids. Alrighty then. Let’s go!!! But we’re walking :-)Good Monday Morning!!!Got my walk in..38:14 means I reduced time by around a minute. Did the whole 2 mile block rather than breaking it into two separate walks. I did time each section though. Got my morning walk/run/trudge in. Started at 38+ minutes last week. Closer to 30 minute goal today. My partner keeps me motivated.Got the week & day started out good. I can tell though...I’ll have some days slower than this. My goal is to be below 30 consistently by the end of May. #BeforeAndAfter #BeSafe #StayAtHomeJust so you know, you’re inspiring others. Yes. You. Whoever is reading this. You’re stories are inspirational. Even when you don’t reach your goal, you’re still victorious. Thank you. I was only 3 minutes away from finishing my run/walk when my wake up alarm sounded. Had my ear buds in and it scared the beegeezus out of me. :-)It’s been a tough 20 days. Shelter in place orders in both homes. But on the bright side, I know what this is!! Do you? It’s been a tough couple of months. Told Cheryl that regardless of what else is happening we have to start moving again. Everything hurts or is stiff. Hope all is well with everyone. Pressing forward.Working towards goals again. Everything is still working. Let's do this thing,Good morning. Looks l like we will be having mustards for lunch today. The grill has lost its ability to be a grill. LOL I am doing my best to get back on track. I have already done my miles today, and I'm working on my tracking now. Everybody have a great day. Keep on sparking. This is my beautiful wife. Her silliness matches her kindness.
She's motivation enoighThankful for the work these folks do.Good Morning. Back at home: 4am activity.
Up ahead in the distance..
I saw a yellowish cat.
My legs grew restless and my eyes went thin...
I ran to be where it's at..
Welcome to your home back down in Georgia...
Such a lovely place...such a lovely pace...Good morning. 2 miles finished around 5:15am. Good start on the day.Changed morning walk by adding another loop to my lap. (There are two loops in my subividion... both approximately .8 miles.)1st day with Google Fit. It might be useful. Haven't set goals. Seems catastrophes usually follow my goal setting. Avoiding as many setbacks as possible. Peace, love & understanding. Cya down the roadGoogle fit has its nuances. Turning permissions on and off before a walk is a bit bothersome, but necessary. Pace was quicker today. On track this week, although yesterday's walk was an evening one4AM is still my best time to walk. I've had to adjust due to cold weather (anything under 40°F). Today was 47°F, so Oliver(dog) and I had an enjoyable walk. ☮, 🤟, & 🦉, we'll see ya'll down the road.Got the walk in. 2.7 in 26 minute pace. A little over a minute faster than this time last week. I'd like to get to 15 by months in... 12 by July. Don't think I'll ever see 7s & 8s again though. My walk is done. I'm sure Google Fit isn't accurate. The same walk gives me different distances every day. I'll look for alternative. Why track inaccurate numbers? Because it at least keeps me moving.Ok.. I've been drinking my gallon of water now for a week.
Now what?Good morning, walk done. Apparently whilst running increases heart points, it decreases distance on Google fit. EGADS. Its obviously based on steps, not distance. So why is GPS required, Big Brother?Done. Actually 2 workouts. Goal is 40 pts/5000 steps. So I cranked it up & finished. Google Fit doesn't show it. I turned off location after workout. Must find a replacement. Pressing Forward. ✌❤&😃My workout yesterday.Yesterday's workout. They are waiting for me in my walk most everyday. Sometimes more than 20.
They aren't just ducks. They are inspiring.Had a fun FaceTime with our grandkids. Have phone, will screenshot :-)Harvested 300 lbs off our tree last season. Roasted and buttered a bag for a friend.
And that's the reward.2st time using this veggie. It was delicious. I recommend it in both forms I tried. Raw, and Roasted. Delicious.Looks like the fertilizer is working. Maybe these will be tangerines in the months to come.Meet Canoli the anoli. He doesn't walk with me. But he does wait patiently for my return.
If only he could save me 15% on my car insurance :-)This little wagon creates a lot of our food year round. We have a garden full of tomatoes, carrots, peppers, peas, asparagus, broccoli and more. But this wagon is constantly being cared for, moved, and reworked year round. Since it's on wheels, it's easy to keep from the elements. Try one yourself and tell me what you think. Anyway...have a great weekend.Found a tool that cuts beets and other fruit/veggies into strips. Baked these. They were tasty for sure.Got 2.7 Mike's in. 41 ❤ pts, 52 5163 steps. FBS coming down.
