Spark name explained.

Tuesday, February 12, 2008

I used to be an avid white water kayaker. With gaining the belly and losing core strength I lost my river roll. I am hoping with the gym training and weightloss that by the summer I will be rolling again.

The first boat that I managed to roll successfully on the river was a Wave Sport Kinetic.

Every time I see my spark name it reminds me of one of the reasons that I decided to start on my quest for better health.

What a great way to choose a name. I saw one of your post and saw you were fishing. Decided to check out your page. How great your interest are similar to mine. All though I have never been in a kayak, my husband and I own a canoe and enjoy taking it out in some of our high mountain lakes here in Oregon. Also, just a couple weeks ago I rode my first quad at the age of 47, and man do I want one now. I think it will be awhile before I ever jump it though. DH and I are looking. My son and daughter-in-law own a couple they said we can ride until then. Can't wait to take one out over on the sand dunes on the Oregon coast.

My name is my hope to make a splash someday as well as our Aussies name, 46 is the age I was when I signed up for sparks.
Keep working away, I know you can meet your goal.
    Best wishes Tammy

    Ooooh, sharing Spark names.

Mine's actually quite simple. There are FAR to many Andrea Hernandezes in this world so I had to seperate myself. I like to stand out and different as my own person so in some small way I feel like my name does just that.

I have been "andeliher" for many years, at least since highschool which makes almost 8 years.

andeliher is ANDrea ELIzabeth HERnandez. Take the first 3 letter of my three names and there you go! Even I feel that there is no one way to descrbe the pronunciation.

I always wonder how people come up with their names. Thank you for explaining. I have never done kayaking, but I have done some canoeing and that is a great upper body workout for sure. But actually rolling the kayak is amazing, I would be too afraid of never completely turning over, lol. I am wishing for you to be rolling again soon. You can do it!!!
