More success

The small changes are adding up. This Friday Shannon and I did measurements. And wow was it what i needed. I was losing weight pretty steadily then for about a week i haven't moved. I know thats silly, some people hit that and are there for weeks or longer, but still it was worrying me. I lost a total of 8 1/2 inches!!! 2 on my thighs, 2 on my waist, 2 on my hips, 1/2 on my arms, 2 on my butt! WOW! Thats all in a month! I think i was most excited about the half an inch in my arms. I really want toned arms!

I went with friends on a 6 mile hike this saturday. It was awesome i was really able to tell how much more in shape i am. but i did hurt my knee. i now have it in a knee brace type thingy to support it. i need to go to the dr to get it checked out so i can keep working out and reaching my goals.

another small victory is rob. When we were at shannon's she cooked veggies and he tried them all!! he didn't like them all, but he tried them! then yesterday at lunch on his own he got veggies at the restaurant and got frozen yogurt instead of ice cream! lol it sounds like i'm talking about a kid not the man i'm going to marry, but i'm proud that he is starting to make small choices that are healthier! its awesome!

well, i hope my knee feels better soon or i might not get to spin this week! :(
