Why is my weight up like 3 pounds? I haven't been eating anything bad and I have been drinking water like a fish. This is so frustrating. I thought I would be getting closer to 219 and instead I'm slipping away from it. I'm fighting horrible urges to binge eat which is how I USED to deal with stress and disappointment. I need to find something to keep my mind of f the scale. Urgh!

DO NOT give in to the urge to eat out of emotional distress. Channel that energy into your workouts, the food is NOT the fix so NIX that idea.

I feel your pain, but turn that pain into purpose, just focus on the things that have made you so successful thus far. Look at how you can adjust your routine to shake things up a bit. Your body's probably gotten used to your routine and so now you've got to switch it up a bit.

You have come TOO FAR to slip back into old, bad habits now. Don't give into the comfort LIE that the food is tempting you with. Remember the potato chips you ate and felt miserable afterwards? DON'T DO IT MEL!!

Ooh man, that's crazy. I hope something works out for you. You've been so supportive of me and I don't have a clue of advice to give. I'll do some research though, I'm curious.

Oh yeah, Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. I am going for my goal, man or no man. Besides with God all is possible.

Two questions not asked yet, where are you on your strength training and your inches? Even though we don't have a challenge with inches doesn't mean you should stop measuring!!!! If you've not gained but lost inches then you need to just stop stressing yourself out!!! Because if you're losing inches then you know that you're losing fat!!!! Celebrate if that's the case.... just not with food. LOL Strength training builds your muscle, so if you feel like your getting more tone then maybe that's it. So don't let the scale mess with you. I see my scale just hanging at 149, 150, 151, 152... and I get frustrated... but guess what? I am not LOSING any parts of an inch. That's WORSE that means I'm not moving for real!!! So, my answer, PILATES. It's hard, but I need to try something to get the measuring tape moving again. So, how are you doing on inches?????

Melly Mel, remember, you've made some tremendous progress. Every week or even month isn't going to be perfect. Remember, after we take one step back, then we move two steps forward. Don't give up. Are you eating enough? Somtimes, that is a problem. Are you tracking to make sure you are getting in the right calories and nutritients. Keep pressing forward. You're fine, and you'll be even better if you don't let this set you back. GTF

I agree, maybe it's too much salt in your diet and your body is holding on to the water. Do you have a motivation collage? I always look at my motivation collage and meditate on my goals to keep me from binging like I used to . I too am an emotional eater so I can feel your pain and frustration. I keep a pack of sugarless gum for times like these, it helps me also to curb my cravings for sweets. Maybe you need a good cleansing of the ol' colon. That helps sometimes to.....lol.

Anyway, I hope you know that I am with you and I go through the same thing from time to time. You just have to be patient and try to push through this hurdle.

I resolved to say to myself that I won't let the scale change my mood today - right before I step on and it's been working for me. Check your sodium intake perhaps that's keeping you a bit bloated. Is it TOM or close to it? hang in there you'll get there. I feel your pain - the closer I get to 259 the more my body goes the other way! We'll make it over
