Daily Battle with the Voice

It was the same thing again this a.m. the alarm going off, me crawling back in bed, and the voice in my head is wide wide awake and ready to go. It was a battle but the voice again won but not until I had 30 more minutes of sleep....that alarm and voice are not the boss of me! It felt good to get in 20 minutes of exercise , eat breakfast and ready for work. I know it's only 20 minutes but I break it down, 20 minutes in the a.m., 20 minutes at lunch, and 20 minutes after work. It's so much easier for me that way, I feel like I'm moving all day long and reassuring myself I'm on the road to success.

    Girl, it's good to know that I'm not the only one with that voice. Sometimes, I need to just listen to it and do what it says. Good for you on getting in the 20 minutes in the morning, 20 minutes at lunch, and 20 minutes after work. I was just sitting here thinking that 60 minutes of activity a day is NOT too much to ask of myself. I was thinking that I needed to make it a priority...like an obligation, b/c if not, there will be a million other things that I'll do, but none of them as beneficial. I'm glad we're starting our challenge today! Have you walked your 2 miles yet?
