Back on Track

Saturday, April 12, 2008

Well, it has been a long couple of months-especially since my hubby rolled his truck. It has been in the body shop for over two months. This has been a real challenge only having one car to use for the both of us. I have had to borrow cars from family and now the body shop is paying for us to have a rental car since they have had the truck for so long.

Enough of that! I am back on track with my exercise. Have been doing the April Challenge with my PCOS group and have done over 400 minutes of exercise-since April 1. I can tell my clothes are starting to get looser and I am getting toned muscles in my arms. The scale isn't moving down, but I have lost 1 inch in my hips and 1/2 inch in both my waist and my neck. I tried on a size smaller pair of capris and they were a little snug-but I could zip them without holding my breath. This is really motivating me to keep on going. My husband has noticed I have more energy and am a bit happier.
Today, I added Cinnamon capsules to my diet. From what I have read about people having the PCOS this really helps with the insulin resistance issues and also helps with abdominal fat. Time will tell if it helps me.
