Oh no why I'm I loosing motivation???????

Tuesday, June 10, 2008

Okay, For some reason I'm loosing motivation, getting down on my self. Well it started Saturday. We did NOT go any where I planned on going to the gym and we didn't. We sat around and did NOTHING. You are who you hang out with. When my hubby is home he sits down and does nothing. Specially on the weekends. I asked if he wanted to go to the gym and he said yes the day before. Well that didn't happen. So same thing Sunday. then today I wanted to wait till he got home so he could go and wam nothing again. when he's not home I go to the gym I clean more and just get up and out. But when he's home I do NOTHING. I'm tired of that. I'm not blaming him but he's not supportive to me losing weight at all. I've done this all on my own. That's why I joined this to help motivate me. I should have gone when he came home and I didn't. He's off tomorrow But I'm going to get up and go, with or with out him. I haven't gained thank goodness, BUT I have not been losing either. I want to lose 5 pounds or more before the 4th and I do NOT see that happening. emoticon

HELP I NEED TO DO THIS!!!!!!

    HI Cara,
I understand the situation that you are in. I have been in that rutt for 6 years now. I would ask my husband to go to the gym and work out, he would always have some kind of excuse, so I would end up doing nothing right along side of him.. I have come to realize though, that I am not going to lose my weight just sitting around.. I have stopped asking my husband if he wants to go to the gym and I have started doing it all by myself.. Its kind of invigorating, knowing that I can do this all by myself.. I don't need anyone, I just need determination. I know you can do this. You might not realize it, but you are very strong. I couldn't believe how devoted you were with the weight watchers.. You were my inspiration. So i know you can do this girl.. Just keep at it!

Hey there, Cara. I know what you are talking about losing motivation. That's why I am here. I have lost that motivation so many times while trying to lose weight, and now I am back where I started! You can do this! All you have to say to yourself is. . . "I don't want to feel like this anymore. . ."

    You will pull through . . .

You can do this!!! I say go when it is convenient for you. I work out at 5:30 in morning. It is my time and it is sacred. If I waited for my husband, I would never get my exercise in. Once I started losing the weight, he started coming around. Now, he is motivated to exercise because I can out run him.

You can do this CARA! if he doesnt want to be supportive then you just need to step back and say, I need this for me! NO ONE ELSE! Dont let him dictate what you do. You are a strong beautiful woman!
