It's NOT Working

Tuesday, June 24, 2008

Ok, so I've been doing this for almost 3 months. At first the weight was coming off slowly.............Not that I was expecting it to fall off all at once. I never loose quickly. I have been journaling every day. I have been going out to eat with my hubby, but I only eat half, order properly. And I'm gaining..........Do I have to forgo going out for dinner with my husband for the rest of my life? This really sucks. I'm not very overweight, but the few pounds I want to lose keep coming right back on. I hate this!!! emoticon
Ok, I think I feel a little bit better, not by much, but a little bit

I know how THAT frustration feels! All I can say is, Don't give up! Sooner or later you'll start seeing some progress if you keep on doing & eating the right things. And don't give up going out to eat w/ your hubby,'s worth alot, too. Do you cook for him and then something else for you? If so, maybe he'd be willing to eat what you do....just in bigger amounts though, I guess. LOL

It will start to work again! Make sure you're getting all your water, and when you go out to eat, you REALLY know how many calories you're getting! There was this new story/article going around awhile back that the "healthy" items on restaurant menus were sent to a lab for testing and most came back with double more the calories than the restaurant said! Cutting out restaurants totally is just not an option for me, but I just pay really close attention to what I'm getting. Also, go back and adjust your diet goals and stuff on your start page, and make sure your calorie range is accurate...all these things will help the weight come off again, I've been where you are, trust me it will happen!! Keep your chin up!!
