Recommitting!!!!

Friday, July 04, 2008

So its been six months since I've started this journey and I'm not as far along as I thought I would be. My goal was to lose 10 lbs. a month so by now I should have lost 60 but I've only lost 21. Now don't get me wrong, I'm happy to have lost at least 21 lbs. but I haven't been as disciplined as I could have been.

I do feel better and I've definitely made changes in what I eat but I still struggle with working out every day. But today I'm recommitting myself to getting it done! My birthday is in November and I need to get moving ....!!!! emoticon

I definitely understand what you're going through but you can do it! I feel the same way as you do, but one thing I did was go back and revisit what I was doing at the beginning to lose weight. When I look back through the tracker, I see where I slacked off greatly but Life happens. . .

One thing I've committed to lately is gettting up first thing in the morning and walking for 25 minutes. I know with your schedule that time may not be doable for you but find a time that is. It's been helping me to get going every day. Stick with all the positives that you are doing and I know you will see a difference soon!

You can do it, but try setting a goal of 2 to 3 pounds a week.

Then stay away from the scales for a full 28 days.

Make yourself walk and tone and do what ever you can to increase your movement.

    (I pace)

    Challenge yourself!

    You can do it!
