Purpose Driven Life

I know this blog will probably sound like a plug for a book but I'm going to try and not plug the book as much as I want to get my point across to you.
I have read this book a couple of times. I have to admit it had taken me a couple of tries to get through it. I'm not one to sit and read a book (any book) to the end.
The book basis it's point on us all having a purpose in life. Explaining that we have 5 purposes in life. I think this is true, we do have a purpose in life and we do need to fulfill our purpose before we leave this earth. Some of you may believe it and some may not believe it. I know the doubters are the ones that think the ones who have left the earth to soon were not able to accomplish their purpose or that there was still much more to be had out of life before they were taken. Yes there could have been much more those individuals could have done in life. Every time someone in my life is taken from this earth I want to say "Why, why God did you have to take them now?" Then I always finish off by saying "There was so much I wanted to do with them". That right there is probably me being selfish in wanting what I want out of life.
In order to make our purpose count in life some of us feel we have to do things in a big way. Others feel things should be done in a big way but anonymously. I think no matter what way you do it, you should just do something with a purpose (a good purpose).
I always like to do random acts of kindness (buying someone a free cup of coffee who is standing behind me, bringing a homeless person some food, clothes to a shelter) just about anything could be a random act of kindness. Get a bunch of flowers and hand one out to people you think need one (people you don't know). Watch the affect that it has on that person.
Life does not always have to be about you and your purpose or your wants. It can be helping others and their purpose as well. Most people don't even know why they are on this earth. Heck half of us don't know why we were put on this earth and we may never know until the day we die. Some of us may already know the reason why they are on this earth.
I have had many jobs in my life and I know the job that I am in now is the job that I have always been born to do. I help others do things they are not able to do for their self. I also counsel them when needed.
When you think about it, without a purpose in life do you feel everything is where it should be? Do you feel that your where you want to be in life? Are you even happy? You can have everything from money to material things and still not be happy not knowing what your purpose in life is. Think about your purpose and what you should be doing.
Now I'll plug the book "Go Buy It" LOL. It truly is a great read. It really is not based on what I have said here but somewhat.

That does sound like a good book - who wrote it? (the picture is too small on my computer and my eyes are

I have always believed we are here for a purpose and I agree with you on performing random acts of kindness (for good purposes). You never know what your actions will result in for the person who receives them. (I believe every action has a cause and effect). And, it spreads........which is another good thing.

Good Karma CutePack - you have good karma. (Def: karma is the principle that every action, good or evil, will eventually return to impact a person's life.)

    Kudos to you!

Well, I for one feel that I have no purpose here. I've given birth to 2 children (and thus, have fulfilled my purpose) and I spend my empty days at the gym. That's about it.
