My Beliefs, Feelings and Behaviors Need Change!

Monday, December 08, 2008

That has been my problem in my weight-loss efforts.

I've been seeking the easiest and fastest ways to be healed from disordered eating and someone on Sparkpeople recommended me this book that has put things in a different perspective for me.

I used to be obsessed with counting calories so I was a little weary in joining Sparkpeople, but now i am learning to eat as I trust my internal cues and nothing external when I eat.

I started reading this book but only chapters 2-4 was in the preview. Chapter 1 was on the author's website for the book. I'm going to purchase it when I get home from college but I know I need to change my eating habits from the inside and it is going to be a slow and hard process, but I know that even today, I am on a journey to become that "normal" eater I was made to be. =]

Rock on Sheryl!!! You are TOTALLY on the right track.

And you're not alone. Quick fixes can be alluring but are ultimately useless. I'm still constantly learning about how to have a healthy relationship with food.

    You can DO IT!!! emoticon
