Continue to EXERCISE OUR MINDS as well as our bodies!

I continue to remind myself that for most of us, this is a MENTAL CHALLENGE and we need to not only discipline ourselves to exercise our BODIES, but discipline ourselves to exercise our MINDS.

I want to encourage each of us to begin practicing POSITIVE SELF TALK. Start practicing saying to yourself, "It's not worth it! "It's NOT worth it! IT'S NOT WORTH IT!" ... when tempted with the "old habits."

And, please adapt my Mantra of NO MORE EXCUSES!!! You will be amazed at how many times you will be able to resist when you tell yourself that "no excuse in the world is going to keep me fat!"

BECOME DETERMINED to go IN - AROUND - OVER - or THROUGH ANY EXCUSE that puts itself in your path attempting to BLOCK you from your ultimate goals, be it career or health!


I've listed below some of my favorite motivational quotes to help you begin to "exercise" your MENTAL CHALLENGE:

    Wow ! Your paintings are beautiful. Your weight loss is inspiring. I am new to sparkpeople. I am 59 years young. By this time next year I would like to really Rock my world , and I don't mean in a rocking chair! LOL

    Do you think maybe sometime you could blog and tell us more about you, as a Artist. When did you start painting? How many hours a day do you paint? Do you have any time management secrets you could share with us?

    I have dappled in painting off and on for a number of years but have problems balancing my life and finding time to do everything I want. I don't have your level of skills in Art. I am sure it would take many hours of painting to reach your level of success. Any advice on how you manage your time so well would be greatly appreciated.

    Now that I have found your page , I will be back to read your blogs. Keep up the good work in losing weight and your Art work.
