The Perile of Buying a New Scale - The Marvels of eating God's Way

The scale I have been weighing on is over 25 years old. And it must have been REALLY tired! I went to see my doctor 3 weeks ago and weighed in almost 10 pounds higher than my bathroom scale weighed. YIKES!
Went to Target yesterday and got a fancier one and - the doctor was right. So I changed my original weight on my SparkMeter to be CORRECT. How disappointing.
The GOOD news is the 2-1/2 weeks ago I culminated a year's worth of reading and research, and praying with A NEW WAY OF LIVING. And I feel wonderful. It is an alkaline diet (previously known, I have since learned, as th Halleujh Diet). I am following the guidelines by Robert O. Young, a microbiologist, who supports eating foods that agree with our blood chemistry - those being mostly raw vegetables, seeds and nuts, and fruits. I was also initiating a Daniel's fast with a friend in my Bible Study group - and (how great is God?) the diet for the fast is ths SAME! The easiest way for me to think of this is - "if God made it and I was walking through His land, would it be there to eat?" If so - I eat it. I have yet to find the donut tree.
Amazingly - I am so very energized, my aches and pains have decreased dramatically, the "hot spots" that my artificial leg created are gone. I have so much energy that my husband just joined the food plan with me (another answer to prayer). And, I a have No - I mean NO - cravings. I eat when I needs some, tiny snacks throughout the day. I do start the day with a juiced green drink and some pumpkin seeds. I munch veggies, seeds, salad stuff, nuts and fruit throughout the day with LOTS of mineral water. Dinner is a real meal and I have been learning to cook differently. It will take a while, but I am committed to this plan.
Finally - I have lost 13 pounds without even trying hard. Dr. Young says that when our bodies are too acid, the microbes, microforms, and microzymas (which are organisms that can become bacteria, virus, and molds) are happy and thrive on our acids. They then throw off more of their own acid wastes into our bloodstream until our body is saturated. Our blood is alkaline and our bodies work hard to keep us in pH balance. When the acid colonies get so large, our bodies store these acid wastes in our fat cells. SO - when we are eating acid diet (meat, dairy, grains and sweets) our fat cells are filled up in order to save our lives. Isn't that amazing?
By returning "to the land" - I have relieved my body of the stress of trying to keep me alive. The system is restoring to its natural God-made status. Since it is no longer alarmed, the fat cells are releasing their store of acid ash and I am dropping about 3 pounds a week without starvation, cravings and with abundant energy.
Summary? New scale was BAD news. New diet is GREAT news I win!!
