The key....

Wednesday, April 15, 2009

The key to weight loss for me is consistency. This is something that I have not mastered yet. I am still fluctuating with my workouts and eating.

What I like about Spark People, is that we break out goals down into baby steps emoticon and therefore master once aspect of our new lives at a time.

I have been working on not snacking after dinner. That is going well. So...what to work on next? For me, I believe it is logging in my food. That is hard for me because it keeps me accountable.

So...for the rest of the month, I will not snack after dinner and log my food in each day.

I have 15 days to work on that.

No problem! emoticon

Thanks for taking on the challenge of posting a blog about your progress! Way to go!
You won't be disappointed by logging your food - that has probably been the #1 tool in my successes so far... If you are dedicated to it daily, you will succeed!!!

You're doing great and are doing the right thing. To many changes too fast can really stress you out. It's always better to master each change as you go. God Bless Christie. I know you can do it. emoticon

That is a great goal! I know that my biggest problem is snacking after dinner, one that I am not good at. You're doing so well - keep it up!

I couldn't agree more with this post!

When I started logging every morsel that hit my lips it was a big slap of reality in the face for me. I put it off for so long...I think I knew why...& now I am afraid to stop logging for fear I will slip back into old habits. One day at a time, right? emoticon

You're doing fantastic. Keep it up & you'll be at goal in no time!!!

The logging was key for me. I don't lie to my self, so it hit me in the face, plus publishing it made me more accountable. You have it ! Keep it up!
    Well done.
