MY GREAT PLAN OF ACTION to get back on track is to pick ONE THING each week on which to concentrate.
I shamefully, gradually, gained back 20 lbs (YIKES!) of my weight loss since September because of my hectic schedule... slipping back into old habits. Much of it, though, was due to the recent commission and the Easter + 3 birthday celebrations since. I didn't resist temptation.
So, I picked EXERCISE to focus on last week and this week... and my muscles are showing it but I had a -2.6 lb loss (1.03%). My plan is to lose this 20 lbs in this next 12 weeks... right before my Mountain Hike.

LAS VEGAS BOUND--
I will be in LAS VEGAS next week... I will be gone from Sunday, May 3rd to Saturday, May 9th and will miss Wednesday, May 6th weigh-in.
May is a travel month for me... I'll be going to Las Vegas on Sunday, May 3rd then to NEW YORK CITY during the last week of May.
My mother cares for my invalid dad 24/7. I originally planned to drive to OK in the days surrounding Mother's Day but my mom said she would rather get away from her life and asked me to meet her in Las Vegas instead.
My mom likes to gamble but I don't (I work waaaay too hard for my money). I plan to live at the hotel gym while my mom is gambling... I decided to make it sort of my own personal “fat camp.” Now, let's hope my eating will stay in check. My mom is diabetic and needs to watch what she eats, too, and is always supportive for my nutrition needs so I think there won't be any temptation from her at least.
I think I can get out to the supermarket to purchase vegies & fruits for our room (we'll have a kitchen, I think.)
I also hope to visit art galleries in the area.... and we've got tickets to see "O" Cirque Du’Soleil - weaves an aquatic tapestry of artistry, surrealism and theatrical romance in the timeless production, "O™." The international cast of world-class acrobats, synchronized swimmers, divers and characters perform in, on, and above water to create a breathtaking experience in a magnificent theatre reminiscent of a European opera house.
